I would really like to get him sorted ready for Pv3 tonight if anyone could give me some advice i'd be very grateful..
Im no expert on either set, but I'll try to offer some advice.
Everything you have 5 or 6 slotted of 1 enhancement type drop to 3.
Drop either assault or maneuvers and pick up tactics if you wish to keep that pool. Slot it 3X toHit 2x end reduc.
Get shockwave, the knockback will be very useful in PvP (I would probably lose resist elements for this).
If you want to keep conserve power slot it 3x recharge reduc.
I would also either drop laser beam eyes for energy torrent, or lose a power elsewhere and pick up both.
Sorry I can't offer more advice or a complete build for you
Jupiter is slow looking into his notebook, but he always looks.
The Retribution is coming.

I'll get Stase to look at it later She;s one of the foremost C/I Scrappers
thank you for the advice, has helped. I saw a post that said Stealth and SS makes you almost as hard to see as a Stalker, anyone know if this is true?
SS gives no stealth bonus in PvP, and if it did, it would be nowhere near that of a stalker im afraid.

Thanks Silver, philosopher also mentioned Stasis was a top Claw/Inv...
I would also drop tough hide (the defence just isn't worth it in PvP) and pick up intimidate from the presence pool. I would slot it 2x fear duration, 2x acc, 2x recharge reduc.
Edit - I wasn't going to say this but.. I would have hasten in a pvp build every single time. In the build you posted I would lose the leadership pool and pick up both hasten and ss.

Ok, so taking all that into consideration, here's the powers i'm thinking... (I can sort slots after)
Strike
Slash
Follow Up
Eviscerate
Focus
Resist Physical Damage
Temp Invuln
Dull Pain
Resist Elements
Unyielding
Resist Energy
Invincible
Tough Hide
Hasten
Super Speed
Swift
Health
Stamina
Assault
Tactics
Challenge
Intimidate
Conserve Power
Focused Accuracy
How does that look?
No unstoppable? It's pretty handy to just slap on in the last 2 minutes of an arena fight and go bezerk, and it's even easier to use in the zones now that the new i7 HUD stuff is in, since you can run off when it starts blinking.
Hmmm, interesting. I see what you mean. Maybe I should swap Tough Hide for it then....?

If you are going for purely PvP build then yes, drop tough hide.
Also, you've added slash to the build, but still no shockwave? I know the end cost is high, but knockback is a fantastic tool in PvP. This is also why I said to pick up energy torrent instead of laser beam eyes.

i agree with everything valens has said, i cant comment on the melee side at all but all u really need for invul is temp invul, unyielding, dull pain and unstoppable. resist energies is prob a good idea ddue to the /nrg blappers but the rest resist are a waste of time, similarly invincibility is good pve but largely pointless in pvp

Oh gah, I hate having to live up to expectations .
As said, Claws/Invuln as a set isn't brilliant for PvP - so you're likely to have your work cut out for you at the start, even without choosing PvP specific power pools.
Opinion: Can't stand Follow Up. Even now it seems pretty pointless to me.
The end useage of Shockwave isn't nearly enough to make the blacklist. It's a beautiful power, and works brilliantly in an Eviscerate/Shockwave/Focus triplet.
I really wouldn't drop Tough Hide, it's not the best power in Paragon - but it's your best defence if you get toggle dropped completely; but you must take Unstoppable, especially now that the icons start blinking at you. You can quite easily plan to have Conserve Power and Dull Pain at the ready for when it drops.
Focused Accuracy gives a teeny weeny perception boost, with that in mind - I'm sure there's a powerpool power which boosts it again - you might want to consider finding out about that and choosing it, maybe...possibly...uh, I know nothing about powerpools .
As you're going for PvP specific, perhaps think about picking up Taunt? I'd usually say avoid it like the plague, but it might turn out to be useful.
My rule of thumb for PvP - pick as many toggle powers as you can, that way your chances of keeping an important one (Unyeilding) are improved tenfold if you do get Blapped .
And that's all I can offer I'm afraid *watched her reputation go down the toilet*.

Aye, but that's not quite so much of an issue now i7 is here. There's a chance you could lose a toggle, but chances are you can get it back up before any lasting damage is done.
Drop invincibility for PvP, no need for it, keep tough hide.
Drop leadership pool and pick up aid self. You don't have the endurance for it, and aid self will increse your survivability big time.
Hurdle always over health.
Not a fan of presence pool, but if you want fear go for it. I would maybe go fighting pool instead.
Slot follow up 2acc 3 recharge to make it perma- always use it as an opener.
Pick up laser beam eyes.
Slow attacks 2 accuracy 3 damage 1 recharge.
Toggles should be 3 res damage 2end redux
GGs
Edit: Oh yeah, definately pick up unstoppable!
Ok, so firstly thanks for all the advice. I had to make some fast choices last night to be ready for Pv3 and I think I held my own. I didn't die, and only got 2 kills, (but the other scrapper on my team admitted to stealing a couple of my kills, which is cool cos it was a team effort). I'm at work at the minute so will post my build as it stands when I get home. I did include unstoppable at the last minute and have to say it did come in handy at the end of the match, I activated it with 1:59 to go and didn't need to use Dull Pain or any greens at all and just went crazy. I think the build I have now is fairly strong in PvP, but as Stasis mentioned, Claw/Invuln isn't a very strong PvP combination anyway.
Thanks again, it's nice to know there are so many people out there willing to give their help and advice! Only wish I was more knowledgable so I could return the favour..
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone would be able to give me some advice on a good PvP build for J Dogg. Not knowing about PvP when building him and not really taking much interest in it til S4 I never really focused him on it. Now i've got a freespec and he's 50 I woul dike to have him built for PvP, but i'm not really cled up on what is good and what isn't etc. I know in the last 2 rounds I got less kills than most, and i'm guessing it's cos he has a gimped PvP build..
Could anyone suggest what powers/slots would make me a bit more useful please? Would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Dogg.
