Quote:Yes, very few people have the suffix. Yes, there is a name conflict with "Eek_a_Mouse".I knew about that post by the Devs, but when I look at the boards I see very few people who have the suffix. Did they never have it and I am just one of the unlucky few who has the suffix? I can't imagine there's a name conflict with "Eek_a_Mouse"
Working as intended.

I'm pretty certain its only the WarWolves. And not just cuz the Wiki says so, but when I've hunted for this badge, I've only noted progress on the progress bar when WarWolves were killed.

/bind mousechord +forward
the default bind for mousechord (left+right mouse buttons) is "+forward_mouse", which gives a delay and then sets auto-run. "+forward" will work just like your "w" key, going forward when you push both buttons and stopping when you release. -
I am one of the very few that don't like the spawn change/fix, I think. I liked being able to fight minions and lieutenants and only encounter bosses at the end of the mission. Now, if I join even a single person, we run into the possibility of having at least half the critters in our missions be bosses.
It's not fun. -
Quote:Numbers 1-4 are irrelevant. And what are the chances that someone who hasn't subcribed for 4+ years still :
1. Has the same computer with the game still installed
2. Has the same email address because you know...
3. Has forgotten the username/password
4. has the original install discs
5. Remembers the names of every toon on the account
1. You can install the game whether or not you've changed computers
2. You can update your email address in Account Management
3. You can retrieve your username/password (via phone if necessary)
4. You can download the game from the internet
Regarding the rest of your post, I don't have an opinion either way. -
Quote:I really don't like when people give misinformation.Since Mid's hasn't been updated since Dec. 2nd of 2008 many of us have come to the conclusion that we are on our when it comes to applying such updates. And while it may seem like an impossible task fret not! ItÂ’s a rather simple undertaking, accomplished in 11 easy steps.

The forums are going down for a little bit tomorrow, which may or may not include poking at some of the bugs.

Quote:1. Get account.Actually it does. Considering the longest trial is 14 days and the logged out time for any of the day jobs is 21 days...
2a. Play for account activity duration.
2b. Log character off in a day job location.
3. Let account lapse.
4. Renew account after whenever. Get day job.
5. Log character off in another day job location.
6. Let account lapse.
Repeat steps 4-6 as often or as rarely as you wish. Free badges. -
Bumping this up a bit as I've seen a few complaints about it recently.

Quote:Case in point. Useless, nothing to do with the thread, and mildly amusing for a couple seconds. :POriginally Posted by tagsagge is awesome
I have my own tag now, though; I was feeling pretty small compared to PK's seven or eight tags. :P
EDIT: "agge > pk" showed up after I posted this. :P -

The scrapper forum is more appropriate for this question. You'll get some answers here, but more knowledgeable and thorough guidance is available in the scrapper forum.

Tags feature is pretty useless. People are making up idiotic tags, and adding tags that have no bearing on the thread at hand.
It's good for a giggle and that's pretty much it. -

Really? Huh. Interesting quote there. Oh wait, there is none.

Quote:Buying Going Rogue alone will not get a new user all game content. Going Rogue requires having a current City of Heroes account, which means you must buy some other box (or online code) prior to applying Going Rogue.Well, New users would buy it rather than older versions, because they would get ALL the game content of both sides for each of their alts.

OK, I have to ask, where are all these overly cute bobble-head anime styled avatars coming from?

Quote:Nice condescension, mr. happy pants. If you're replying to a specific user and not the thread, use quote, because these forums no longer put "RE: USERNAME" in the title, and your post was directly after mine.it appears we're having a failure to communicate. allow me to attempt a solution: read both of the following posts, in their entirety. the first one is the post i was responding to. the second one is my post.
do you understand now? do you get that my comment about the name was in response to the other poster's demand? is it clear that this was an exchange over a specific case?
if you still are puzzled, please do not hesitate to voice your confusion and we can start going over individual words. -
