Many of you know that we've been searching far and wide for a new Assistant Community Manager. Well, the search is over!

Please join me in welcoming Jessie "Hit Streak" Lawrence to the Paragon Community Team! As you may have guessed by the moniker, Jessie is a bit of a baseball fan, being a lifelong Oakland A's devotee (rumor has it he once dreamed of playing in the major leagues...until he took a fastball to the knee).

Jessie joins us most recently from Antec and has previously worked at many different gaming/peripheral companies including Corsair and Creative. We're still getting Jessie completely up to speed, but he's already contributing to the team in great ways with some fresh new approaches to how we handle social media here at Paragon!

I certainly understand your feedback. It's something I've passed along to the development and business teams prior to this. If anything, know your feedback is being heard.

That being said, as has been mentioned, the licenses are a mere 180 Paragon Points/Month. Also, I'm not sure when you left the game, but did you know that you can use an alternate build to play with as well? Visit any trainer and you can switch your active build to another one. Many of our returning players keep a SO/HO based build in that slot, in case they decide to revert to premium status from VIP.

Rest assured, all content available for Free/Premium players is balanced around Single Origin enhancements being used. Thanks to the adjusted difficulty option, our VIP/Premium players who have access to IO's can enjoy the same content at a higher difficulty, if they so choose.

Again, welcome back, and I will be sure to convey your sentiment along.

Looks like this update has been pushed to next week at the earliest.

That's what I get for giving an estimate.

In talking to various people, I got the impression it was mostly an aesthetics/animation issue.

We can look into porting it over, but no guarantees that it will happen or in what timeframe we can accomplish it in.

I spoke to Seattle about this. They told me it should be fixed with a publish next week, most likely late next week.

I was just talking to someone about this today.

There's a lot of reasons. From what I understand there's some concern about actually adding the items to the editor. Also, some of the objects we've added to the game over the years are kind of like a theme park wild west show...a facade with incomplete surfaces that aren't player facing.

There's a lot of things we want to add to the base editor (furniture from Going Rogue, the aforementioned pinball machines, etc, etc...) and hopefully it's something we can accomplish.

Waiting for the inevitable "pantsless" response.

Alright, so I'm ready to fully deck out my Kat/Reg Scrapper. I've decided that this is going to be my Dark Astoria character, and I want it to be IO'd out when we launch Issue 22.

So here's the dealio. I am going to blatantly abuse my position and offer a Rula Shen costume code to the creator of whichever build I choose:

Post your mids builds here for Katana/Regen, assume that it only has access to the EPP's, no PPP's.

Let's make the deadline Friday, 2/24/12 at 5 PM Pacific. I'll announce on Monday which build I've chosen and we'll go from there. Post your builds below, along with a brief explanation as to why your build is the best and I'll weigh each option carefully!

PS: If this turns out to be a fun exercise, we'll see if we can do this on a regular basis and maybe have Synapse or Arbiter Hawk judge it.
