Wow, Im kind of at a loss for words here.
Way to own up to your mistakes and take the blows from those still throwing them.
I did, and was probably more pissed then anyone else. P.o.N had 2 teams up and running and ready to go at 8am est.
Soooooo Yea I was throwing the words out pretty freely.... Mod8 made me a nice dinner with several of those words recently
Anyways.... glad to see your back and ready to pick up the pieces and fix what needs to be fixed. If you ever need to, you know you can call on me, and P.o.N anytime. -

Wrong type of drama. -
According to what was said, the main conflict in server merges was going to be "names" conflict.
This is what were assuming right now, Their giving out the free transfers and name changes, for now, seeing how thing shake out, and where people will end up, and have minimal problems to deal with later.
It was suggested that in the end if name conflicts occur, the character that had the name first, (was created first) will keep the name and the other would be given a free name change token.
The way is was described was, (and No server names were used) The busiest server woul merge with the least busy, the 2nd busiest would merge with 2nd least so on and so on.
According to recent activity, champions been running 3rd-4th busiest, so it looks like possible merge with pinnacle or protector if this really happens.
Again, everything that was talked about with them was just a big "MAYBE" -

No worrys scribe, were gonna be doing another event right after Double Influ... I mean double XP weekend.
Will hopefully be bigger and better by far.
I was quite impressed with Champion server yesterday. 36 pvp'ers showed up and took part in the event, and maybe 10-15 other where there for the CC's and just to observe.
All this on LESS then 4-5 hours notice of this event. Quite impressive guys.
The thing I liked best about yesterday, we didnt just have the "super pvp'ers" there.
We had about half the people that showed up say, "hey Im not very good at pvp, but this looks fun, Im going to try it out." And the Expert pvp'ers that were there conducted themselves in a very impressive manner. They were polite, and even over heard several of them offering advise to others on how to improve their builds before and after matches.
STOP THE PRESSES!!!!!!
I think their finally getting it.... THIS is what we need to do as a SERVER and COMMUNITY to help promote pvp, and make pvp thrive on this server. awesome job guys, props go out to exile specifically... it was actually a couple of their senior members helping out a few that were new to the pvp scene.

The clothes were extraordinary.....
The people were incredibly charming....
the snacks were so superb....

Great Event overall tonight guys!!! Had 36 show for event, and for PVP, thats AWESOME numbers.
Took a while to get the ball rolling, but once it did, it was rockin!!!!
Wanna say thank you to EVERYONE that took the time to show up for this, many others just showed up to watch, and thats great. a good time was had by all, but theres always those that feel things didnt go their way, and had to try to start drama... We quickly took the wind from their sails by paying no attention to them

She has made it clear in this thread there are numerous leaders in AOW and to ask any 1 of them questions if we had them. The question now is why didnt another leader step in to keep the events moving forward and offer a reason why felecia wasnt able to make it and why payouts would be delayed.
Im fully aware this is a game and real life issues do most certainly come 1st.. however, with 7+ chapters, with an event thats been hyped now in various forms for well over 3 months, i would think that someone would have made sure to save AOW further embarrassment... This was hyped as an "event for the community", from a "community minded" sg wanting to "do more for the community" etc etc etc.. so, 1 person not being able to be there has now caused everyone else that made plans to be there, and was there, left to scratch their heads.

8v8-8v8-8v8 PVP Tourney
Sunday Dec.13th 5pm est in Pocket D
The way this will work is this:
The matches will be 8v8, the winners of that match will then go to a 4v4, the winners of that match will go to a 2v2,
winners of that will then 1v1.then the winners of the 1v1's will face off till we have a sole winner.
-Event coordinators will be Bud, Brajie & 4shes.
-All matches will be set up by event coordinators, they will have sole decision making in setting of all matches. Decisions of the coordinators are final.
-1 reset will be allowed for Disconnects. You will be disqualified any there after.
-You will be allowed to enter 1 toon and 1 toon only, no switching between matches.
-These will be single elimination matches, you lose, your out.
-All taking part in matches must come to pocket D for the event.
-Sportsmanship is going to be encouraged. keep your opinions to TELLS. Any poor comments in broadcast or local chat could get you DQ'ed.
-Regular inspirations ONLY
-Sets will be NO TRAVEL SUP, NO HEAL DECAY
-Maps will be Graveyard (8v8) Tech Lab (4v4) Cargo Ship (2v2) Office (1v1)
-We cannot have any draws or ties, Soooooo, Sudden death kils WILL COUNT.
-We will NOT be excluding anyone from these event, villians or otherwise.... BUT, all prizes will be given HERO SIDE ONLY.
-The event coordinators will NOT be taking part in the actual matches and are just here as hosts and officials of sorts, but their respective SG's WILL be permitted to attend and take part in these events.
Prizes will be as follows:
1st Place: 500million Inf and 3 LotG 7.5
2nd Place: 250million Inf and 2 Lotg 7.5
3rd Place: 125million Inf and 1 LotG 7.5 -

Now were being told by DOZLE that the mission was supposed to start at 9am est, (we were there since 8am est with 2 teams ready to go) And that we were supposed to start then, so because we didnt, we were disqualified.
This is a nothing but a farce.
9 AM EST - 800 MILLION AE CHALLENGE: Mission will be announced at start of event - This will be held in RWZ building, lvl 50's recommended. P.o.N Disqualified for not starting at 9am by Dozle from AOW
10 AM EST - 50 Million Costume Contest - In RWZ, there will be 4 categories with 10 prizes each. Grand prizes are 50 Million. Categories are Best Hero Costume, Best Hero Biography, Best Villian Costume, and Best Villian Biography. P.o.N, along with 15-20 others were here, Again, no one from AOW bothered to show up for this event.
11 AM EST - 8 vs 8 PvP Tournament Elimination Style (Rated Event)- In GALAXY Arena, we can argue who is on what team when we are there. Top 10 teams, Grand prize 25 Million to each member of the winning team. Again P.o.N has shown with 2 teams ready and on time, No AOW.

1 PM EST - 50 Million Eliminator PvP Challenge (Rated Event) - Prizes for top 4 players. This will be a 1 vs 1 elimination match, opponents selected at random. Winners of each round move on.

8PM EST - High Society Ball - Hosted by Madame M. This is a Costume Contest and probably a good time to check out the High Society Order sg base. I hear they throw fun parties. There is a thread for this in the forums.
9 PM EST - MAIN EVENT - AOW 8 BILLION AE CHALLENGE - Atlas Park AE Building. Prepare for lag! Register your team prior to 10 minutes before the event! This is soloable but is better with a team.
All teammates must be from the same sg, yes you can mix divisions, so UHB and ULB can team, same with DarkGuard and DarkGuard-Apocalypse as an example.
Event will run 30-75 minutes.
Top 10 teams through the mission listed below will win prizes. Winners on the 1st place team will get 1 Billion Infl. each (8 people = 8 Billion in prize money, that's how we determined the name for the event). So even if you solo and come in 10th you will still recieve 100 Million for your trouble
Mission #343709 - The Army Of Dragons (This mission will be tweaked just before the start to add a password and a few surprises such as a GM or couple of AV's switched to add more excitement but will run almost exactly as it is now) -

Actually, Darkfriar and I talked with a Dev that wishes to remain un-named, but they told us that "they are aware of server populations, and are considering some various options"
When we asked if server merges were going to take place, the response was. "its being considered."
And just f.y.i...
Champion has actually been the 3-4th most active server recently. -
