Quote:They can take my global when they pry it from my cold, motionless digits...Nope, warned about it yesterday. I'd imagine a server list merge would require more notice to nut out what happens with globals etc. Although I've only seen one person say they wouldn't want to change their global. I have no attachment to mine except thats what people know my by. I'd change in a hearbeat for a merge, as would most EU players I'd bet.

Quote:Possibly more arrogant than ignorant. But a valid point, t'be fair.Yes, back on topic, sorry all for the bickering. Just get annoyed when people try to stop others from posting their opinions, just cause they disagree. You can disagree and state that, but to tell anyone to keep their opinion to there self is ignorant. Especially in a place meant to share ideas and opinions. If you cannot handle reading opinions you don't agree with, then a forum is not a place you should frequent.
I believe the mods would mostly agree with the above!
I will not be bickering the flames on this post either!
Again, sorry to get off topic.
OT: Is it here yet?

No objection here.
As a famous captain says; Make it So! -

Memory? Hmn...maybe you get granted that in a flashback...or flash forward? Or something to do with one of the 'alternates' mentioned in the Incarnate lore post.
It'd be a bit daft to go to the full detail of that and then make it an NPC power, which tend to have single lines of text.
Wish I could check the Detailed Info, but im still on my laptop atm. Can anyone else check what 'Special +Everything' does?
Oh, also;

Yet another kind of merit would be bad, but something nice for dealing with the little gits would be nice. Nothing groundbreaking, like you said, maybe just something like 1.5 x their normal exp.
Oh, and in before the whole 'What are you whining about, their push overs!' crowd. Been there, done that arguement, brought the nail-bat... -
Quote:That would be bad. That and she does still have those void grens, even if they don't do what she thinks they'll do.

Nightwalker hates quantum weaponary (although yeah, I dunno what those rockets actually do either
) even more than Ellie over at GG. For a whole bunch of different reasons, but still enough to make him turn someone into meat-soup.

Quote:While it was a decent enough overlook, if slightly skewed in CoH's favour (not a bad thingand yet the press that actually, you know, PLAY THE GAME, don't get anything.
) I've also never ever heard of the reviewer or the site. Whereas Kotaku and Massively I have. I'm not very well plugged into the internet as a wider entity.

Because she's the one he's looking for. She also happens to be the only child, besides maybe the unnamed girl with gravity powers who, happy coincidence, is in the exact same room as Tomb.
I can and will go into an in depth explanation of just how the glowing purple git can do so, but for now it is, frankly, an issue that only really concerns me as the owner of the character and CB as Tombs owner and plot GM. And, as I said, if he has issue with it, sure, I can work around it. Until then, nuff said. -
Quote:Truth. And I'm honoured by the mention. You just knew it was only a matter of time before I weighed in all guns blazing on this one, eh?Opinion A: Devs should look at their own dispute between Neuron (always making new and shiney and moving onto the next 'big thing') and Anti-Matter (takes time to improve old stuff, maintains the city) and THEN say "we want to just keep making more new stuff."
Opinion B: To paraphrase Technot Alpha: "Revamped old content IS new content in it's own right."
-
Quote:Fact A: It's no more work to make a new zone than to revamp an old one.
Fact B: The devs would rather have one good zone and one decent one than one good one.
QED
I refuse to believe this...crap excuse every damn time I hear it.
First of all, most of the Pre-Paragon Studios content is not 'decent' by any length of the imagination. I'm currently re-writing the Atlas Park initial arcs using data on the wiki. I can feel brain cells dying while I'm doing it, they are that bad. There is no story to them, dull @ss mechanics, repetetive junk that, when compared to the new mission arcs we have, is like comparing cow shite and gold bars.
We don't need any more new zones. There are already zones sat with no content in them except for the odd totally pointless hunt or door mission.
Dark Astoria? Zone with a ton of atmosphere and a great story behind it! Anything there? Nothing!
Perez Park? A dark brooding forest whose surrounding buildings are a gang warzone for the Skulls and Hellions, while the interior is infested with all manner of villains, all with their own dark plots.
Anything there? Nothing!
Boomtown? Should really be overhauled to show the reconstruction work that is actually shown in a Villain arc, of all things, and has supposedly been going on for years now. Cool zone, excellent backstory. Any content? You guessed it; None!
So, sure, let there be one good and one decent zone. Right as soon as we start seeing anything half decent out of the dross of the old contacts! Which currently ammounts to nothing! -

*sigh*
The reason Nightwalker has done little more than float around like a freaky cloud of anti-light is because he's been focussing purely on tracking down Tomb based on various things around the island.
He was already floating above the island trying to pinpoint Tomb, and when your little more than a cloud of morphable energy, travelling through rock would be exactly as easy as that, when you can simply swap places with atoms until your fully phased through it.
Finally, no, the thing out of the trapdoor would presumably be just a big seething mass of 'Nasty' or something similar that would be fairly easy to keep track of. Nothing even approaching human levels.
So, if CB objects to Nightwalker sensing Tomb then I can always change it to fit in better. But, for now, I see no issue with what is basically a focused sensory sweep and target locating. -
Quote:Either which way, all this is speculationActually as a chain power the total damage is inaccurate.
From what I'm seeing here it looks like each hit does the 313 and the info is reporting 4 hits.
Compare to Elec Control's Jolting Chain to see what I mean.
I have confidence that it will be awesome as an Orbital Railcannon round being fired at someone you dont like while still being balanced. -
Quote:Put it this way; In the GR Beta, Shards were about between yellow and orange recipes. Obviously some luck is involved.Based on the numbers in the GR Beta it sounded like Incarnate shards were quite a bit more common than purple. The statistic given in Zombies guide was that clearing a farm map set for x7 normally yielded 1 or 2 shards. So even if you run at lower difficulties you should get a shard every couple of missions.
But anyone going 'OMFG, Shards are going to be Purple level rare!' can get cured of cranial-rectal reversal syndrome right now. Because the chances of that happening are non-existant. -
Quote:Lord WeaverThe multiverse has a universe for every possible variable, they say, so there's an infinite number of universes in which Stefan lived, just as there are infinite in which he didn't.
Heck, there's even a universe in which Arachnos are the good guys, and Stefan is the ultimate hero with a name like... hmm... "Daddy Longleg!"

...
I may have to design that in AE, now XD -
Quote:Honestly, the head model should have been adjusted *years* ago!
Why is there a head *with* ears to which we then add a *second* set of ears from the 'Ears' menu? That's *four* ears! What I am requesting is the ears on the default head be removed. That way, people can add the ears of their choice and not be *required* to use long hair to hide the second pair of ears. Human ears *are* an option on the 'Ears' menu, after all!
Now, this? This should be in game. I've always wondered why the hell we have to get stuck with 4 ears and thus limited hair options. I have at least two characters who use non-human ears who cant change hair due to the fact the human ears dont go away when you select alternate ears, even though that should be an option. -
"Ah...there you are, little one."
The seething mass of darkness in the already apocalyptic sky turned inward on itself, arching down towards the plant. It hit the ground and simply carried on down, seeping through the earth itself, until it came across Tomb, Patsy, Damsel and the others.
Nightwalker paused as he broke through into the room, literally sticking himself to the roof shadows like a thick layer of oil. He settled down to wait again, watching as the scene unfurled beneath him. If he could avoid attracting the attention of the others, so much the better. If not, it mattered not. His goal was within his grasp, now. He could wait. -
Quote:The Backstory we don't even know anything about yet? While I love the implementation of the Incarnate system, I really do dislike the backstory and assumptions around it. For people who RP that really seems constraining. It would be much better to just let us have the powers and work our own stories around them. For people who don't RP they don't care, it's just another system.
People who do can likely make their own stories as to their power or lack there of.
Basically, I'm going to totally ignore the backstory for Incarnates and my main and several others will never claim to be one despite having those powers.
