Yeah, but it would still cost an absolute fortune to film and render all of that.

I've been saying that a modern Hulk TV series would be awesome... but if it's just a body builder in green paint it'll get laughed off the TV...
There's also the problem of action, people expect SMASH these days, TV Hulk was always a bit wimpy, just lifting things mainly and always fighting normal people. -
Yeah, the concept of canon in Doctor Who is very... fluid. Just like time itself, wibbly wobbly.

Quote:Ummm, who didn't see this coming?
If the series is popular and the actor playing the Doctor bows out and they need a 13th regeneration, did anyone think, "Aww, too bad. We have to cancel the series now!" would be an acceptable solution?
Non-issue.Quote:Obviously they would need to address it. The way they are addressing it seems inadequate.
It seems like this limit either died with the Time Lords or they gave him infinite regenerations for the Time War or something.
Having said that...
They're completely dropping the ball here on having an awesome series finale one day.
It just seems wasteful and just bad storytelling. -
Dragon Ball GT introduced me to the concept of canon. This made me much happier.

Cool!
It's nice to see that Doctor Who has become popular overseas. As long as that keeps up, it helps the series continue. -

Quote:Slightly off topic, but if you don't want to do the Carnival masks exactly, would it be possible/feasible to create an original porcelain mask option that can have different patterns and faces? But not look like the Carnival's.Skull and Carnival masks are in the gray area for me, but most other parts are fair game for discussion.
Anyway, on topic now, NPC costume pieces.
First off, Kheldian Sashes! Give it to all Kheldian characters and let it be unlockable via Moonfire's TF for everyone else.
The Patchwork skin of the Vahzilok would be pretty cool.
Longbow has a sash with what looks like grenades attached to it, that'd be cool. [image]
The different heads of the Snakes would be cool too. [Minion] [Lieutenant]
Although not really a costume piece and more an actual NPC... would it be possible to use the Banished Pantheon Mask spirits as actual masks? (and Maybe the Totem's body as a mask?) [Death] [Desire] [Pain] [Sorrow] [Totem]
The Legacy Chain has some interesting helmet and chest options. [Adamant] [Tellus] [Radiant]
I think that's all I can think of at the moment. -
I've enjoyed all of the TNG films... so... yeah.

Ghost Widow, final Patron Arc mission, fighting Lord Recluse in the future. Took him down, mission ends, arc ends, DING!
Was epic. Didn't even plan it that way, just kinda happened. -
Heh, nice.

Quote:I haven't been following, but from what I understand, only the characters actually think he's dead right? DC themselves haven't been saying he's dead at all, just trapped in the past.First rule in comics are the only people that stay dead are Bruce Wayne's parents and Dick Greyson's parents.
At least that's the impression I get from comments online. -
I haven't really watched any of the DC films, but this is my opinion of the Marvel ones.
Ultimate Avengers - Good, very fun. Perfect combination of Avengers and the Ultimates.
Ultimate Avengers 2 - Good, but not as good as the first.
Iron Man - I think this would have been better if it wasn't an origin story, considering live action Iron Man had come out, watching a different version of his origin again was a little dull.
Doctor Strange - Was okay. Not a huge Strange fan, but it was interesting.
Next Avengers - Haven't seen.
Hulk vs Wolverine - Quite good, but not enough Hulk in it and certainly not enough Hulk vs Wolverine. But it had Deadpool being Deadpool so it gets points for that.
Hulk vs Thor - Brilliant, has some of the best Hulk fight scenes ever and has a pretty cool plot, cast of characters and location.
Planet Hulk - Good. Not as good as it could have been, but still good. -
This is looking really good.
It's reminding me of the Marvel animated movies that have been coming out lately, Hulk Vs, Ultimate Avengers, Planet Hulk etc. Their quality was great, and the quality of this is great too. -
Wow... huh.
Ouroboros (with a u ) is a small zone that contains a couple of TFs/story arcs. but more importantly it lets you play any story arcs that you missed.
Missed a level 35 contact and you can't get their missions? Ouroboros. It also lets you replay any arc you want again. Wanna play those awesome Rikti War Zone arcs again? Ouroboros.
Now, how do you get it? Do a story arc or get a badge related to time travel and you'll be "entrusted with the secret" and get a power called the Ouroboros Portal that lets you port directly to the zone.
Quote:Interesting that Recluse isn't there at all. He drank from the Well of the Furies also...is his status (and by extension that of the Isles) going to be called into question? Even if he isn't everyone's favorite NPC, his backstory kind of entitles him to be there, I would think. -
Quote:Indeed this, also even though Cole is a considerable threat, I don't see it as the kind of threat that would require time meddling to try and undo. The Coming Storm has always been referenced as an in-universe alien threat...
the Shiva metorite that hit Bloody Bay is supposed to be a forerunner of the Coming Storm
we also know that the aliens of the Coming Storm use the Kheldians as an energy source and will eventually drive them to extinction if things are not changed
the Coming Storm does not seem to have anything to do with Praetoria....and also seems to be set about to destroy the world, Hamidon included
While we all enjoy arguing about who's the most evil, the fact is, Cole is just a man with his empire and like all empires it will eventually fall. Even if he attacks Primal Earth and kills all the supers, he'll eventually just be another footnote in history along with every other crackpot dictator, people will continue to live and die and new heroes will eventually be born again.
The Coming Storm seems to be something much, much worse that could potentially mean the end of earth in it's entirety. -
There was once rumoured to be a group called The Battalion in the works that were so strong they would require special weapons, created via the Inventions system, to defeat. Supposedly they and the Rikti had had conflicts before.

Quote:Oh wow, didn't notice that, thought they were just random "player characters".I think Reichsman and Rommy being there is just as surprising - it looks like they might have found the entrance cave in Cimerora where the Midnighters have their pillar of ice and flame.
Hmmm... there are three other figures. Someone next to Romulus and two over on the left. Can't make out who they are. -
