I want to thank the devs for loving this game, the community relations folk for loving this game, the players for loving this game, and the forums for having an ignore feature for when the love (or lack thereof) gets too annoying.

Quote:Note: Putting gototray at the beginning/in the middle of macros makes the macro misbehave. It needs to be at the end, as CMA demonstrates here (I edited the human macro to put gototray at the end). Everything after gototray disappears if you use it in a macro. Here's the standard Warshade triform macros:
/macro nova "powexec_toggle_on Dark Nova$$goto_tray 9"
/macro dwarf "powexec_toggle_on Black Dwarf$$goto_tray 8"
/macro human "powexec_toggleoff black dwarf$$powexec_toggleoff dark nova$$powexec_name gravity shield$$goto_tray 1" -

Quote:If you right-click, edit the macro, putting the extra commands in, they will not disappear. The only problem with that is ever since like Issue 9 or so.... whenever I try to string multiple commands to the same macro.... every so often when zoning the extra commands DISAPPEAR from the macro. Gone, completely and I have to retype them in.
If you use binds, the extra commands never disappear.
Other than "powexecname walk" (or just using your walk power icon) and clicking twice (once to turn walk on and once to turn walk off), there is no command in the game to turn off every toggle at once. -
Quote:/macro blah "powexectoggleoff Dark Nova$$powexectoggleoff Black Dwarf"Not what I was looking for, but thanks.
What I'm trying to do it create a macro that turns off all my toggles so I can switch on my Warshade from whatever form I'm in back to human instantly. All from one button instead of having to have both the Dark Nova AND Black Dwarf icons on my tray.
Forces both Nova and Dwarf off, whether you are in either of the forms or not. -
Quote:Nope. Issue 9. (1.3.8 City Zones)Wasn't founders the issue or two after Skyway? Or vice versa?

Defense is basically "negative ToHit". So they add together, 40% defense + 10.5% -tohit = 50.5% defense. -ToHit is a direct part of the Defense formula.

This is going to be a REALLY hard decision.

To be truly honest, only a few of those issues have 'innovations' in them. All of them have new stuff to do, play with, see... but only a few have 'innovative' stuff to do/play/see.

Quote:That's because they're weak to lethal. Guide to Enemy Resistances by Culex. (requires Excel or the ability to open Excel documents)Interesting. I'll have to check that myself since the last time I ran Posi I was getting extra damage against the abominations.
You weren't getting the bonus damage, you were just getting extra damage because they have negative lethal resistance. (lethal damage does 1.3x as much) Dr. Vahz has a weakness to lethal as well. -
I have taken the axe on one character, and deeply regret it. I am in love with the woosh-woosh fists-flying animation of Sands of Mu (and also Shadow Maul and Flurry). I don't care about the damage, I don't care about the animation time, it looks effing cool!

Use powexectoggleon instead of powexecname and you won't turn off SJ on the second tap, or ANY subsequent tap, since it is ONLY toggling on in the command. You'll just turn off up/forward. Bind powexectoggleoff Super Jump to something else, or just click SJ to toggle off when you're done.

Quote:Ch.. chain.. chainsaws? Chainsaws????Your mention of the words "birds" and "confused" in the same sentence somehow triggered a reference in my noggin to this. The video starts off cool, progresses to "wow" then ends up in the Twilight Zone.
CHAINSAWS?????? -

I can be on a team within five minutes of joining City, no matter what server or time I'm on, so I've gotta say, I'm not seeing any issues with population. Of course, I make heavy use of global channels (these things what span across servers and give you a larger pool of teammates!) and a very, very large global friends list (also spans across servers!), so YMMV if you refuse to use the options available to you.

Quote:What. What. You saying this is reassuring as the only place I've seen on the red side is Mercy. And unlike Atlas, you also have to run nearly a mile, as a lev 1, to get to where you can lev.
There is a leveling Arbiter (Arbiter Diaz) in the fort that you spawn at (Fort Darwin), above the hospital and to the side of Kalinda. -
If you've already applied a CoV box code, another CoV box code won't work. If you've already applied CoV Collector's code, a CoV box code won't work. If you've applied no CoV-specific box codes, a CoV box code will work!

This is my claws/regen scrapper when inventions first came out and I couldn't be arsed to figure out sets, set bonuses, etc. It's mostly a bastardization of my SO build. She tore through dudes like butter, and stood toe to toe with just about anything without flinching. Of course, regen is "kill or be killed", so she did have considerable work toward her debt badges but that is part of the process of learning regen - dying is a way to learn your limits, and a regen character will constantly be testing those limits. (Especially if you suffer from eternal scrapperlock - which I do - even when I'm playing my defenders. )
(And yes, I am well aware that there are several IO slots being under-utilized, like three endmod in QR/Stamina, three rech/three heal in DP and IH.)
NOTE: I have since greatly modified her build, and she has gone up EXPONENTIALLY in survivability. She is built for Recharge and Accuracy set bonuses now, with currently over 50% +rech, and over 60% +acc/tohit (a mix, and yes I know they are different mechanics), so that she can minimize the slots used for accuracy (or acc/x/y/z), to further the recharge awesomeness. She is a whirlwind of awesome, and she's not even CLOSE to being done.

My favorite name obtained recently was "Hi Jinkies", a fire/traps corruptor and a nod to Velma.

An attack activates in 1.67 seconds, recharges in 8 seconds, and does 50 damage. To get dps (damage per second), divide the damage by the recharge plus activation (aka cast cycle, or how many seconds the attack takes, total, to become available to use again).
50/(1.67+8)=5.17 dps.
That's the literal meaning of dps.
