Disease powerset well... could work but I'm not sure. Maybe with controllers. When controller or dominator affects one enemy by the disease effect could jump to next enemy and disease spreads among the mobs. Some limit is probably needed like with ion judgement.

Yes. Short time ago it was not even possible to log in without paying money. So all things more than that is just an extra. You can log in the game for free and you can team for free. It's only bonus. Real playing still needs money just like before. Free system is more like extended trial.

This happened long before we joined in EU (european union). We had big financial depression in early 90's in Finland and government put (I don't know this in english) more taxes to all goods and services. So before those times let say my favourite comic Agentti-X9 paid about 12 finnish Marks (now we have those boring euros ) and that was not so cheap but ok. So prices rised a lot and that was clearly too much and people stopped to buy too expensive comics. Well so many good comics just disappeared very fast. Only big favourites lived over those years like Donald Duck, some war comics, some Marvell and DC, Tex Willer, Phantom and mostly French albums. (they are actually very good)

Things changed and of course we have now also superhero comics but it's not same that it was in those golden times. Manga founded it's way here in some point and filled the gap left by other comics. Nowadays big graphic novels are more popular. But I think those new movies like Avengers and Thor makes superheroes more popular again but slightly different ways.

I played yesterday for a long time. Looks like I solved some other problems and my computer likes coh again I put my shadow details to lower settings and now I can see the walls in Praetor Duncan's missios. Hopefully that helps you too. Brightness was not the problem but those corridors were totally black like shadows itself.

New tax system killed most of comics in middle of 90's here. Before that they were very popular. Nowadays all youngsters reads mostly manga. Of course people know's Superman, Phantom, Spiderman etc but they don't buy those comics. Green Lantern was totally unknown before the movie.

Especially in DA missions I run against the walls more than in corridors. Adjusting lights does not work because the rest of the world goes ugly.

edit. I'm noticed that there is some new effects in DA missions so perhaps that's the reason.

Are trolls mutants? Just came in to my mind. They use drugs but the effect is mutation. Some new troll content would be cool. Perhaps one very very very mutated and big troll... rare giant monster.

Well of furies... perhaps it is magical but I think it's more like ancient and mystical source of undefined energy.

Magic origin is not necessarily same that magical powers. My Dr Watson is martial artist but he learned his skills from old mystical books and he uses magic for time traveling. So his origin is magic, but he does not use spells in combat. Generally I'm usin all origins. More important thing is they fits in my consepts.

Maybe there is a lot of magic but also there is a lot of science and technology. I would like if they focus also other origins in future. Mutant would be cool. ...and natural of course.

My main is elec/energy blaster and I'm doing all new content first with that toon. I'm played with that from the issue 7 so I have some experience.

I like to play blasters and yes I'm dying a lot. It's not bothering me but sometimes I have feeling that the damage base and cap could be slightly higher. Not much but slightly. Perhaps about 4% or 5% but no more. And I love sniping. It's one of "must take" powers for me. I think that snipe without any buffs should take yellow minion or white lieutenant down with one shot without exceptions if it's slottet right way.

Exactly and it helped. I played hours last night without any problems. Formatting and reinstalling helps you to get rid of piles of crap. Well it's not actually very hard thing to do. I'm installed over 100 computers. Save important files, put disc in, click, click, click, watch TV... download cox, watch more TV, ready to play.

I remember times when it took over the night to download cox. Now it happens in one hour

Very serious graphical glitches started suddenly in one day. Maybe it was windows update or some other thing. I cannot tell sure but several programs patched at same day. Driver update fixed that problem but started this new one.

For example Skyrim works great and all other games also but I think they are Direct X games and Coh is OpenGL game if I remember correctly.

edit. do you think it's Steam? I installed Steam in same day but it sounds odd.

My computer shuts down in new dark astoria and maybe in other new areas. I think that overheating is not the problem because all other games works great and last time it happened only in 68 celsius and sometimes in 70 or slightly over. I'm cleaning my system regularly. Everything worked fine until I had to update my driver because of some other updates happened and the old driver stopped to work.

Driver version 196.21 worked fine until it stopped to work and now I have the latest 296.10

I'm still using snipe and I like sniping even in combat. Of course it depends on situation. Perhaps a good fix don't have to be too complicated. Give a change for critical or remove the 5% miss change. That could help a lot. What do you think?

If they are making a bigger expansion they'll probably sell it with paragon points. Some other games do it similar way. It's cheaper way because there's no need for physical copy.

Well... what kind of content you would buy for let's say about 5000 or more paragon points?
