Why would you punish players that only buy CoH against players that only buy CoV?
[/ QUOTE ]To get them to buy CoV of course.

yeah but why not make the CoV then buy CoH as well for base access? (oh man I have to shut up, bringing them on bad ideas :P) -
ok getting confused why should salvage be useless when you only have CoH? Thoughed it where two identical games that could be played seperately? So why not entering a base with CoH? Why would you punish players that only buy CoH against players that only buy CoV?

for me it depends when I have all the necessary skills I want for my build
-
hehe you have force bolt for knockback, and with one or two recharge enchants it does the trick pretty well to keep a foe knocked to the ground, only problem is when you knock him back in the middle of another group
And the knockback of the rifle blast isn't working always, and sometimes I hate the knockback of my bots laser blast, see reason above -
Is there any place you can find a nicely timeline of the world of CoH/V and some history of what has happened and how the world is build up? It would greatly help to get into my character more for sure

Placate makes one foe stop attacking you and putting you back in a brief hidden form. It only works on one foe though so if you are up to a boss, build up - AS, fight a few moments until AS is almost reset, then placate and AS again. With a few recharge enchants in AS it works pretty fine, two AS in one fight before you have to run
-
and it is better to get the spawn before you enter, you will get a few when you get into melee range of the door, even without destroying it, and then one last one when you find the clue so be carefull not to enter vault and grab the loot otherwise you have to go with 2 spawns
-
I have also noticed defeat all guard on the way to the fault, don't hit the vaultdoor but go near it. When you get close you will trigger a spawnwave that will target you and as said possition your bots so they BLOCK the door and no guard can enter it, this way you can hide behind the corner to get out of range of the guards. Or you can use the run tactic the previous poster said. After this spawn is defeated start hitting the vault door with your drones and keep an eye out on spawns, haven't had any yet but could happen. If it does use the run tactic as descriped by previous poster. And STOP firing at the vaultdoor. Then when the vaultdoor is defeated and you get the loot there is one more spawn comming your way that you have to defeat before you complete the mission.
Oh and if you have personal force field put that one on when spawning is happening and order your henchman to attack. Oh and before I forget put your henchman on Passive mode so they won't start attacking the vaultdoor after they have defeated one of the guards. -
Going for the same build only not for the pulse rifle blast, I'll go for a leadership skill there
-
oh that problem, I'm working my way to personal force field for such cases. Or just stuff up on Respites to heal yourself.

I have restarted my MM and gone only drones/upgrades and the FF, with the deflection shield and the insulation screen my drones realy stand out a whole lot better. At lvl 6 even took out a cobra lvl 7. Took me one resummoning though, and the 2 minions with it were dead after that as well
-
I went stupid and deleted my lvl 22 MM because I was bored with it and nowhere found a group. I started a stalker wich I love to play as well, but missing my pets was one of the reasons I recreated a MM :P
-
Hmm I have slotted my protector bots with 2 buff enchantments, not sure if it helps. But my bots get shredded a bit slower
What I noticed is that they get shredded each time they go in melee, seems like ranged attacks miss them a lot or doesn't do much damage -
Killed a lvl 12 elite boss with my stalker last night, took only half hitpoints with one build up AS. That means time to run away, then noticed he regened pretty quick so entered combat again then placate and another AS then normal attacks. Was a close one but I came out on top
-
My stalker is currently lvl 12 and is ninja blade with ninjitsu sets. And following was my flow of choices:
at creation: Sting of Wasp/Hide
lvl 2: Danger Sense
lvl 4: The other ninjitsu DEF buff
lvl 6: Assassin's Blade
lvl 8: Build up
lvl 10: Flashing Steel (just to get a second attack)
lvl 12: Placate
The only thing that I perhaps could have switched with something else is the Flahsing Steel, with a requirement of travelform.
