skipping strike because it now looks like the Boxing punch

PLease, Please, PLease don't change Strike to the Boxing animation!!!! It has to be the worst looking attack in the game IMO. I love the change to slash, and it would be so kewl to have a left right thing going but the current Boxing animation of strike is terrible. -
Does anyone else find the sfx to be over the top?

I have teamed with a Blaster cutie named Lighting-Lass, and I must say she was one of the best Blasters I have ever met in the game. Hats of to you hun!

I am working on my all human Warshade build on test for the coming of I5. I must say I am truly impressed so far. I actively hunted voids with my 3 form build. I picked up stealth and super speed to always have alpha against them. With a +1-+3 void it was always a who saw first issue. I see them first they loose, they see me first 50% I loose. Using the level 34 respec my all human build went toe-toe with a +2 void wihtout using stealth, and walked away the winner (35% health left) My 50 is a Defender set up for solo play, so I am not used to "massive damage," however I think I'm pretty uber right now. The amount of controlles I have plus defenses I think will make up for the I5 changes.
This is my build I am testing an will go live with.

I was really upset about the I5 changes at first because I thought it would ruin my "pure" controller. I didn't want to delete him since he was my first toon so I was working on a scratroller build for my Earth/FF before I saw your post, but after reading yours it inspired me to work harder. I also wanted to point out that now on test, Dispersion Bubble provides Psionic Defense... I am testing my build later this week and will post the outcome. You truly had an excellent idea!!

The Respec With Smaller Teams
You do not have to have a 4 person team or larger to finish the respec. You will have to have at least four to start, but if people drop off, or even immediately quit after joining you can complete the respec with less than four people. The number of enemies scales, so with your two or three person team you will face less enemies than a four or more person team.
Soloing the Respec
If you want to do the smallest number of people; one, then you must form a four person team and have at least one person log off. If all three people quit the TF you will find your self booted from the TF. Having one person log off keeps the TF active. The person that logs off can log into another hero and continue playing. Soloing the Respec TF is possible, but it can be extremely difficult.

Also remember to bring a Earth/Force Field controller on the first respec. Hate to give props for my AT, but drop EQ and Gasses on the reactor core and bubble the core itself and wait till th end of the attack -

I think all this effort into curbing powerlevelers is a waste of resources. Plvlers will find out how to do whatever they want with the tools at hand. This hampers a few plvling techniques, but exacts a tangible cost to players in terms of freedom to play how they want. Overall, I don't think this will have any real effect on plvling. They'll go do their outdoor mission maps, and players doing content will have to do their "Kill 150 Crey" hunt missions in a big group because you wanted to fix a problem that doesn't exist.
I don't buy the plvling hurts the game argument because what it really comes down to is "Is the content interesting enough to curb Plvling?" For a lot of players it is. For some players, it doesn't matter, they'll always plvl. For some, they have half a dozen toons over lvl 40, and they've done every mission, badge, story arc, TF, trial, etc. 3-4 times, and they just want to play with a new AT/build.
You're trying to tell people how to play the game, even though they're playing well within the confines of your world. If its not griefing, and doesn't violate the CoC/ToS, either leave it alone, or make it an exploit. To me, tram plvlers are like RP'ers in Galaxy. Its not how I chose to play the game, but it doesn't bother me one bit. Some people are going to do only missions for their xp (until mid 30's when you start running out) because it makes them feel heroic. Some are gonna roll up a Taxi Bot and recall people all day. Some will host a play in Perez Park, and some will sit all day while getting plvled by a friend or 2nd account.
Lastly, a quick question: How does this effect badge credit? I NEVER do hunt badges within 300 yds of my teammates, often a mile or more away. Like many players, I've put a lot of time into collecting my hunt badges, solo and in teams. I currently have all of them (except for isolator, which I did not have the option of getting). If I had to stay close to teamates to get badge credit however, I definitely wouldn't have bothered with many of them.

I totally agree

Yeah, it's not like we need a skills system or anything.

you are greatness! -
You really need to add in credit for buffs and debuffs so toons that do no damage still get credit. Defenders are going to hate life if you dont.
It's nice to see the end of power leveling! No more lvl 30 toons asking how to find the cape mish.......lol
