I can possibly be there with a Dark/dark Defender.
[edit] Changed character[/edit] -
They took down the thread since there was so much rage about the special badge being awarded for it.

There are 2 old blue side contacts that give all the same missions. Its either in the 30-35 range, or the 35-40 range ( I dont remember which). I remember finding this years ago when leveling my first character, and bug reporting it. I guess it never got fixed.
[Edit] Brax should read whole thread before posting ><[/edit] -
I've been experimenting with different things in the BAF to see what may affect what reward table I get with my nrg/nrg blaster. A normal run of me blasting/nuking/punching everything I target gets me an Uncommon, with a few commons here and there. Before experimenting I've only gotten the rare reward twice.
Since experimenting, the only thing I have noticed is in the BAF if I do nothing but attack the Warworks during the first phase and attack the escapees (in other words, just stand around during the fights with the AVs), I consistently get a rare reward table. -
2 cents here. I 've been thinking about our MoLambda run today while brewing over the reward table debacle, and there may have been a way that we actually did fail it.
One of the spots that Marauder jumps to has an Molecular Acid capsule spawn right next to it. With all the AoE madness that was happening and possible uncontrolled pets (Lore or otherwise) the capsule could have easily been destroyed, giving a random person on the map a temp, which would fail the mission.
Now if said person wasnt paying attention, they may not have noticed that they got an extra temp power. -
Cant be based on clicks, imho. I've run so many trials (20+) on my nrg/nrg blaster and 90% of the time I get uncommons. This is with constantly pouring out the damage.
Sorry for the short post, Im heading out to work. Peace. -
Its not based on damage dealt. I've run enough trials to get 2 rares for Lore, Judgement, and Interface on my NRG/NRG blaster and have yet to get an ultra rare reward table. I get Uncommon rewards about 85% of the time, Commons 14% and Rares I've gotten 2-3 times. I've been lucky and gotten some rares I needed from gaining the badges during the runs.
I've blasted the heck out of everything, used my incarante powers every possible time they were recharged, melee attacked, ranged attacked, buffed with pool powers. If its based on participation, then it really needs to be overhauled or replaced completely. -
How about having the UI engineer guy allow us to add the different incarnate xp bars to the combat attribute monitor window so we can see our progress without having to constantly open the Incarnate IO creator?

Casey Chen in IVy's arc.
"GREETINGS. I AM BEING CONTROLLED BY CASEY CHEN. PRAETOR BERRY IS STUPID. THAT IS ALL."
"IF YOU DIE, CASEY CHEN WILL NOT CRY AT YOUR FUNERAL"
IVY
"This is IVy! I regret to inform you that I am in the process of being kidnapped." -
No, we didnt get married. We went to Cape May to watch her brother graduate from Coast Guard boot camp. Then went to Atlantic City where I promptly won $2 from a slot machine.

TJ, there arent any wedding chapels in Atlantic City that I can see. Actually, Atlantic City is pretty ghetto.
-
I'll be in Atlantic City that day, and I might not come back <<

Got it figured out. There was an errant texture file in the data folder that the game seemed to be trying to access. Deleted that file and everything is good.

After todays patch (2/1/2011) when I try to launch the game from the updater, I get this error box
I've tried re-verifying all files and shut down the comp completely and restarted. Only thing I haven't done is uninstall the game and reinstall. -
Not gonna happen anytime soon. As explained by Sexy Jay, the NPC character model animation rigs that use those costume pieces are built differently than the ones used by the player models. More than likely, the only way one will get those costume pieces would be as a costume code that turned you into a generic sybil.
