Ok, so still a work in progress, but I figure "what the heck" I'll post what I got. Background obviously needs work. I'm not 'inking' in the shadows so much on this one, and leaving the coloring to handle most of the light effects.

One cool thing to note, and I'm not sure on this but, this may be the first time we see Feral Kitty with her new I11 claws. Thanks to the screenshot provided by Katfood.

I'm thinking I may crop in a bit on the final version, I'm not sure she's...got enough attention on her.

Hey I love ol' 8, but thinking a little more long term, it just seemed to make the most sense. That should explain the little "TC" in the corner.

Here's my suggestions for software.

1) Fraps - For capturing the video from the game.
2) ...not software, but use the demo record function in CoX to fine tune or completely recreate the shots that you want.
3) Personally, I use Vegas Video (even though Sony bought them). Try the www.sony.com site and search for Vegas. Adobe Premier is another option (but the version I used a while back locked up too frequently for me...thus the switch to Vegas). That one is available at www.adobe.com. There are easier to use options out there, like Movie Maker or an easy to use one by Pinnacle and I even think Avid makes a do-it-yourself version but as you could imagine there are going to be limitations with the easier to use software. Just depends on what you want to do....if you're just talking about adding music, then pretty much any of them will do it, and I'd say go for the simplest (cheapest) option.

Possibly, but here's my thought. I don't know about ya'll, but I typically don't have enough time to browse all the forums, heck I'm hardly able to keep tabs of this one. I like the people in this forum, specifically, it's a nice crew. So I made the post here.

I guess the argument could be made that there was nothing specifically 'evil' or 'villainous' about the post I saw in the villains forum, but there it was.

May I recommend the book, "How to draw comics, the Marvel Way". Or at least something close to that title.

I'd be a great place to start.

Ok, I admit, I'm stealing the thread idea becuase I accidentally stumbled into the villain forums and thought, "Hey, what a cool idea."

I don't give TR the lifespan of Auto Assault. I was all of level eight I believe before I had a quest asking me to kill 200 of "x" things. And to clarify, not just "A" mission, but the only mission I could find. Believe me, I tried.

Whew....man I sure am glad Richard G. said that TR had no kill-grind in it because otherwise I seriously would have mistaken that for kill-grind.

Ok, I feel I'm a pretty patient guy but we're approaching 6 months now and I've tried many emails, to no response. Posting on the boards, with no official response, PMing lighthouse using the board email, and one post that was actually DELETED.

Can somebody please say something official about this. Sorry for the attitude (and I'm sure my exclusive title at this point might just be "pain in the a#@") but nothing I've been doing has gotten any official response. I hate the fact that this is a public post, but private has been getting me nowhere.

The funny thing is, last I heard....like 5.5 months ago, Lighthouse told the dev to go ahead and turn on the name instead of meeting face-to-face in-game...because he didn't want to make me wait anymore to get it. :[

I know there's humor in that irony somewhere.

Hey, this is 8baller. I'm posting here because I'm not sure what else to do. I still haven't recieved my in-game title for the contest. At least I'm pretty sure I haven't. What is it exactly that I'm looking for? I've checked all the badges and my character ID and I don't see anything 'new' or that 'stands out'.

I've tried a good number of times to email lighthouse but my last 4 or 5 emails have gotten no response. I'm not sure if the email address is any good or what.

After very nearly 39 months of playing I finally got my first 50! My main character Ipo.

Maybe if I don't get so wrapped up in my other character's stories, I'll have another 50 someday.

But that leads me to ask the question, what about the artists at comic conventions that do commission sketches of those same characters? Not talking about iconic artists like Stan Lee, more like just the artists on artist row.

Or does it fall under the "it wouldn't be worth suing artist X just because he did a single commission piece for someone.", but by the book it's illegal?

I was just wondering what the rules are for creating artwork for licensed characters. I've seen a ton of 'Spidey', 'Superman', 'Batman' on DA and didn't know how the legalities of all that worked. The same question goes out for making art of Statesman, Ghost Widow...etc.

Sorry about that. It was supposed to be a Ms. Marvel comic, but I screwed up the art so badly that they had to change things to Hulk at the last minute.
