I've been trying to set up my wireless network and router for the last 2 days. No luck. Tried even calling the Belkin tech support ("Fred" in India cannot handle it and 2nd level tech never called back until 36 hours later), no luck.

My coworker comes in. Does *exactly the same thing I was doing for 16 hours before him. Except. It works FINE.

Go figure.

See, I made RR to be me. Has anyone done that *specifically*? It's not all that hard to get most folks to look reasonably close to real people. Some don't look all that "heroic" in stature or whatnot. But hey, try it out. You facial-hair-wearing 'cat girls' don't have to be catgirls in game all the time do ya?

Is it the right size? Looks a bit large to me, but I can't really tell from eyeballing it. The profile section does say the dimensions you need. You *should* be able to simply fill in the blank in the profile change area, with that url. But if it's too large it'll look funny and/or not work.

Edit: It also might be an error with the forums. Sometimes the forums database gets sticky and they have to spray it down. Maybe try again later.

You just need to look at *who* is posting the artwork and decide which of them you like. Ask them.

Heh - I think the lesson to learn here is "when you're comissioning anyone at Cons - BE SPECIFIC about what you want." I don't have that problem because I *want* different (radically sometimes) interpetations of my characters from people. But in any case, that's a cute pic. I think you could tell what's on Phil's mind, eh? He was too busy to do me a pic at the San Diego con.

They really do need to change the wording on the costume equipment though. "Cheetah" only applies to the face paint, which is actually labeled 'cat' I think, but the spots on the body are jaguar/panther spots, not cheetah dots... feh. Some people. If we HAD both that'd rawk. Big spots. Little spots. Rosettes.... ah anyway. I'm off to find some screenies.

Oooh. Well I know it won't be before the deadline unless I actually do it all quickly, but... Hey I'm already working on my Protector Lego Hami raid.

I have a TON of toons out there, but these are ones that I've devoted some time and effort into their costumes and such. I've assembled a bit of a collection for each of them, including bios and powers.

My newest 20 (had to get that scarf before the costume contest!), Winter's True Spirit. I had originally created her for the 'rush to 40 RV event' on Test, so I knew that she'd wind up being pretty killer once I got the hang of playing an Ice/Kin controller. I love her, she's lots of fun! And - yes, that is her, SOLOING DR VAHZ. (The guys on the Jello Shooters global will attest to my amazement at that task.

My Kheldians! I created two Kheldians right after RR hit 50, because this was shortly before I7 was going to hit, and I wanted to make sure I didn't botch them, I wanted to guarantee they had freespecs. I haven't used a freespec on either, so far.

Xureen! -- I couldn't wait to have a 3rd costume slot, I had to get those legwarmers on some toon and it seemed like she would be able to support it. Fresh out of the gym!
Zymon! -- mmmmm. Zymon... I've never honestly seen anyone else use the 'fringe' cape option. Yeah there's a clipping issue but I don't care, it still looks fantastic.

And last but certainly not least, my only 50 so far, Retail Retali8r. I've been playing this character since September of 2004, and it took until earlier this year to get her to 50. This is a sort of retrospective on many of the things that I've done with her. 2 Winter events, halloween, hami, 2 anniversaries... All in all I still enjoy playing her. (Which is only fair, because she's me. ) Those are 5th Column there with the tentacles on em, during the War, and the Herolympics on Protector in the middle. I've respecced her 2 times, once and then mostly back again.

Now to convince the Deviantart people that yes, in fact, storing screenshots of COH on their server *is* okay. It's *for fan use*.

Redlining for critique is not new, but it's something that the individual artist should have control over. I wouldn't say encourage *every one* to do this with *whatever piece* they want to.

On DeviantArt it's all descriptions - I have only ever had to send a redline once, when the person was really just not seeing what I was seeing. Perhaps if someone leads a post with "Redline me!" it'd be all right. It is just a fact of life on the net that some people can't stand to have their work touched by anyone, no matter with what intent.

Yeah he's usually at comic conventions, doing things. He's usually too busy at san diego to even see him, let alone get a commission from him other than early-early-early on Thursday... Good job!
