It's not restricted if you have the shoulder-cape option open from vet rewards. Karen Kenobi there is only level 11.
-
Yeah it's incredibly frustrating. And I think it's IP based because I have tried logging off, getting on another account, and checking for some of these and no dice there either.
-
(psst crestent - cape. _ and there are four now!
-
Yeah little pizzas
And of course the variation on this theme should be that he's holding the box where his boxers should be -
Yeah come on what's up with that? I don't know that it's such a tall order... Maybe next time we should try and get the City Scoop people to advertise it?
-
Hey buzz. I hope you got your stuff back.
If you didn't, I still don't think it matters... The stuff will be there. It's in the game. Play the game, get the stuff. That's really what the whole point is.
They oopsed. Sorry. They made up for it as best they can. *shrug again* -
Ooooh man that first screenie is GREAT!! That really is a terrific look.
-
Here's mine!
Karen Kenobi, in her 'jedi in training' outfit.
Her other is .... you just don't wanna know. -
I saw Bayani at a hami raid shortly before I9, but I don't know if they're here on the forums much.
-
Superlion, they mean live in real life events. Conventions. there's no indication that we'll have private GM's here in the game. while I think it's a great idea, that's not what the thread's about... Did you actually read the poll?

Update of sorts.
I'm working on drawing (pencils on sets 8-10, inks on sets 5-7) and naming and such, but I've also had no one but the few folks here reply to any emails or posts about their info.
So, as it stands there are going to be a good number which I'm simply not going to do until someone says something about it, and fills out the form more fully. It's possible that one or two of them are from deviantart or somewhere, but I kinda doubt it as this is really the only place I've advertised.
Anyway, I'm coloring the current group 4 and going to be scanning and filling stuff in shortly on others.
As it is, there's going to be about 90-100 people in this holt straight off the bat ..... that's a LOT by the way
And yes I'm still writing. Very slowly, and working on ways to keep it so that I don't just tell the same thing over and over as groups come in.
Plus, right now, I've got a new office and am moving stuff into it. Once I'm all settled this stuff is the top of the list for me to complete for you all. I'm really happy with my office. I rolled around on the carpet when I first got the keys -
hee. Well it's gotta be finished first, so there.
And at least now I know I need to start up learning how to use the dreaded Adobe Indesign program to make a functional PDF of the calendar... -
I know. I had that OOoooooOOoh noise coming from my mouth when I opened Brandon's email.

Bumping!
Attention all finalists, you should be getting a PM in your box about the COLOR PROOFS -
The problem with moving to other states for conventions, and for specific cons for games like this, is that it's *very* expensive to run a convention. Those that are run on a shoestring budget for small town areas often are held in small, grungy or badly maintained hotels - like one poster complained about (though frankly no large scale convention has any of those worries, and hasn't for years). In order to make the venture worth doing, it has to be in a place which will attract the most people for their budget.
3 large scale conventions far outweigh 6 or 8 small ones, for that reason. Local cons rarely get the attention you'd imagine they would. It's a shame but it's usually true. It's sort of why there are in fact the big 3 or 4 cons every year in the USA. But even Worldcon is very, very small compared to the others, and it travels and is rather hard to afford for that reason too. -

Maybe if the people who lost multiple-many-millions would have WAITED until the market settled down, and the weekend was over so the servers didn't have so much strain, you wouldn't have LOST all that.
Everyone's gotta have everything RIGHT freaking NOW. Well, that's that.
If you'd waited, you most likely might have lost 10k or nothing at all. I don't even know if I lost anything but I sure as heck wouldn't STORE rare commodities in there, I would KEEP the rares on me and store the crap in the CH. o.0 duh.
Sorry guys I don't feel too bad about the situation. Some of us with only about 200 k on them at any moment don't have the option of 'losing' 20 million. Some of us HAVE to wait for the stuff to get less intense. Maybe if some folks had been less impatient, this would have had less of an impact.
This wasn't the dev's fault, it's a glitch. plain and simple. Every system has them, and outside of this minor problem there are only little bits to fiddle with. Beta can only give so much of an idea of how the whole massive thing will work, so honestly, this was clearly an unexpected problem that might have occurred at *any* time.
If you just had to have that latest most-expensive piece RIGHT NOW, well, that's your loss. I will spend 1/100 of what you did for the same piece later on, by simply being patient and waiting for drop rates and prices to change. *shrug* -
But pretty much all those issues are addressed in various forms right here. In interviews, redname posts in threads, and in PM's. Try a pm now and again... they often work.
For your computer issues - check the technical forums. It's not their job to help you straighten out your computer, but it can easily be helped by other fans.
*shrug* I'd never want to subject the team to a bunch of venting. A good question and answer session yes - but not for things that they've already gone over a hundred times. -
If it gets front page COH.com site links, a section of the forum is just as good as any other place on the net, imho.
I've got an idea for puzzles/games whee! -
Whenever I am talking geek with my ex or friends or whoever, I simply don't care what other people think. I look at those weird glances and smile reaaaal big. Then I go back to talking about pvp'ers and ganking and faceplanting and slotting.
Whenever I HEAR someone talking geek, I jump in. I don't hesitate, I'm a gamer chick. Many guys out in public talking about a video game or whatever that I might have heard of or played *don't know many girls* and it kind of takes them off guard.... heh. (And I'm only partially kidding there)
And it's for this whole reason that I actually keep copies of the 'bootleg edition' disk for COH in my backpack. To give out to people who may see the forums on my laptop when I'm working, or whatever. I tell them about MY game. -
That's not only a hilarious concept character and toon, but a terrific drawing capturing the guy!

OH MY freaking gawd, this thread won't die. Not even a full YEAR after it was buried.
Grats!!
And I too have my rock on my 50, and forgot to throw it at Hami. I was gonna, I even said I was gonna. But we beat Hami before I9 came out and ... sigh. didn't.
This thread needs to die yet again, for another year. I'll see it then. -
Yeah I remember you! I hope that the weekend prods you into coming back a while!

Happy happy birthday! I saw the announcement on DA's city of artists

For actual musculature those things are good, Gray's Anatomy (which while expensive and medical in nature has *brilliant* illustrations) is often what I have used for making mutations on human forms.
But what you might also start doing is buying muscle and fitness magazines. Those will show you the kind of superheroic bodies that we've got here in COH, and how those muscles look when covered with say, skin
