Reminder: please be in Fire Base Zulu for photo ops tonight at 7 pm EST. WittyLibrarian will be there. For anyone thinking of running the Shardtober TFs next month, this will also be a good time to unlock Gen. Hammond > Dr. Boyd arcs so you can get to the hidden rebel base linking the Cascades and FBZ (it's where the second TF Sara Moore begins, and it's good to unlock that gateway).

Avast, ye pirates of doom! Just letting you know the SG base is slightly functional (some telepads, medbay up, workshop is on). Also letting you know there's a Tanker Tuesday event acoming this Sept. 15th, so if ye can break out the PIRATE TANKERS or you wanna make a PIRATE TANKER now's the time to sign up and join the krewe. Bwhahahaha! RUM FOR EVERYONE! >:-)

Wow, where did the summer go? Well, there's no better way to smash those blues away (cuz Tanks burn through alot of endurance *rim shot*)than some good olde-fashioned melee mayhem, and September has 5, count 'em 5, Tuesdays!
We start off with Tanker Tuesday Classic on Champion, September 1st, then move on to Justice for a Tanker Tuesday Tour: Reloaded (how many reloads does it take until it's just a plain TT?) on the 8th, followed by the TTTour destination of Pinnacle on the 15th.
We gather at 9pm est near the IP gate inside Kings Row as usual.
I hope to see all you Tanker enthusiasts there, and stay tuned for news of maybe even more TTs on the 22nd, and 29th.

As for the Pinnacle Tanker event on the 15th... Just a shout-out to anyone from the Bloody Bay Bucs who have/had a character on the Pinnacle version of the SG team we tried running about 1-2 years ago. The SG is still up, there's a partly functioning base, and there's room aplenty if anyone wants to break out a Pirate Tanker to join! Just drop me a global tell @witty librarian and let's get some PIRATE TANKERS on PINNACLE BWHAHAHAHAHA!
(already got 2 pirate tankers, one at level 20, one level 17... personally would love to run a Sister Psyche Tanker TF as it goes slightly better than Synapse's due to most ppl having Stamina by that point...)

On our team we got to Arcs 158534, 259920, and 13088. I went by ID numbers. 259920 was short and sweet and VULGAR AS BLEEP ZOMG sorry.
I kinda do feel the need to apologize. I always get this unsettled feeling that I screwed up somewhere. :/
And I'll tweak the library arc as needed. The mob spawnage on the third map was a bit too harsh... -

What I'm trying to say is, I will soon be beginning my first semester of college--I move into my dorm this Saturday. I've signed up for 18 hours of classes and intend to retain some semblance of a social life; that all amounts to a severe cut into my playtime. I should be able to play a bit on weekends, and Friday evenings that I don't have other engagements planned on. And all of this is happening at the worst time (When i16 is on the verge of Open Beta and going Live...i.e. When I'll be able to play something I actually want to play, not my Mastermind that apparently has leprosy...but that is neither here nor there).

What part of 'Pirate Masterminds' do you not grok?
Also, Rularuu Shard realms for Villains, each with their own Strike Force.
Plus, more Strike Forces at levels that currently don't have them: 30-35, 40-45, and a few more 25-30ish Strike Forces so Villains can be on par with Heroes in the PvE department.
And we need more Skuls to hunt and kill.
And maybe get stem cells from Scarlett Johansson and clone about 8 million of her. Just asking.
And design a City of Heroes map zone on Yeehaw Junction FL. What, you never been there? It's got the best street intersection anywhere! -

Me am are wondering which character to bring. I'm slightly intrigued with the need to bring a high-30ish character to help them level into the 40s... Either a Psi Blaster or a Fort Widow.

Tanker month marches on this week as the Tanker Tuesday Tour touches down on Liberty server tomorrow, Aug 18th, at 9 pm est at the usual location, Kings Row near the IP gate.
Next week, on Aug 25th, there will be a TTTour: Reloaded on Freedom server. Usual time and place.

Quick bump on this post. I recently (being bout half a week ago) sat down and tried working on some of the new projects I've planned, however given the old screen shots I took for some characters they didn't fit for what I am doing now. So I may or may not need new screen shots. I have been currently as of tonight been making notes of what the pieces will be and who is going to be on them.
My basic goal is doing something like a comic book cover, like if you're characters had a one shot comic which I actually plan to make it look as close to a comic cover as possible. Most of them will fall into the Team Up style or in Witty's case, throw down. Mostly since some of you like fighting similar groups it will make it easier to make a scene with them.
My only delay currently is last Saturday (being Aug 1st) I blistered both my hands pretty good at work and that makes for quite a difficult time playing more so drawing but they are on the mend right now so I should be able to try and work on my first peice come this weekend or so I hope.
I don't concider my following list spoilers as it gives people something to look forward to so here is what I have so far for:

Shardtober 2009 is coming... The Shadows are growing longer...
And I'm in the mood for hiring Ashcraft to make a new trailer for this year... um, what's your schedule like, Ash...?
I'm just wondering if we could stage some scenes in FBZ of a host of heroes... if we could get enough of a crowd to stage a cool "Avengers Assemble"-like scene... Maybe have a few battle scenes vs. a group of eyeballs... anyway ppl may need the zone badges.

My sympathies for the loss of a loved family pet. My family's had/have pets almost my whole life, and I know if my cats were to die like that... oh gods...
But to those of you here posting revenge fantasies, guys, stop. Hurting that dog isn't going to do anything but escalate the chance for violence. If there's a grievance against the neighbor, so be it, take the legal route. Hurting the dog isn't bringing the macaw back, and it's gonna make more people angrier and make a cycle of violence keep going.
