  1. Bumbum..bumbumbum...:
If you guys didn't see the thread, here's the pic: Bayani vs. TA

Anyway, no new stuff right now. I do have some doodles here and there, but nothing I really wanna show off right now. Ah...my next piece should be Emma_Peel's Gravastar, which I did one drawing of, but I'm disappointed in it so I'll be redoing it, and then whiteperegrine, considering I ever get pics of his character ( ).

Quit out of drama club and the production. Way too much of a commitment than I'll ever want to do at the moment. However, I'll be auditioning for the talent show with "Bark at the Moon" by Ozzy. That should be interesting.

    GIANT ROBOT!!!

Yes, you can. You right click the image, hit properties, and use the link that's shown there. I use that link on every single one of my images, and have never, I repeat *never* had a problem with ads since this method bypasses looking at it from an imageshack "page."

They even give you a direct link URL at the bottom of the page everytime you host a pic.

Same here. I have a paid Photobucket account and they never touch anything I might upload to it. Well worth considering over those horrid popup ad-prone sites such as ImageSlock.

[/ QUOTE ]You don't get pop-ups on imageshack if you know how to use it correctly. I.E. linking directly to an image. :|

Screw it, not like I'll change your mind.
  4. Aaron123

    Hmmm..

You're getting better already, the key is to keep going at it. Draw draw draw draw draw and you can put anything in your mind onto paper.

I had sort of the same blues awhile back, but I kept at it and persevered and realized, the art isn't about others, the art is about me.

Keep going, and you'll alway have the potential to be a great artist. It might not seem like it at first, but after awhile, you'll see the progress. It helps to write the date you finish a piece, so you can see this progress easily.
  5. Small news-y update:
Dropping outta the play thing. Constant rehearsals every week will drive me nuts by cutting into my non-school time.

Grabbed "How to Draw Comics The Marvel Way" at Books-a-Million today. Cool stuff.

New pencil will be up tomorrow: Bayani vs. Thor's Assassin. I like it so much, I'll be making a new thread for it.

    Thank you, Zobragas.

See, if someone asked me "Who's Daft Punk, anyway?" I don't get pissed--I show them.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I wasnt pissed, I was sad. Two entirely different things. Sad that not everyone already knows who Kirby is, sad that I'm so fricking old now...you know, sad.

And, you know, it was mostly a joke.

[/ QUOTE ]Sounded pissed-sad to me (yknow, my ignorance). Hard to tell in text. Well, I never heard of the guy before today. I understand why you're sad. I am intrigued by your ideas and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
  7. Thank you, Zobragas.

Batman was created by Bob Kane just so you know... I did think you were funny though, I came this close to doing a Kirby of Crimson Jimson after your post... lol.

    [/ QUOTE ]Ditto, actually.

This is what happens when the youth of America doesn't read the Classics! :P

    [/ QUOTE ]

Exactly. Aaron's post makes me cry.

[/ QUOTE ]I'm so sorry I'm not an avid comic reader. I don't even know who created Batman. Hell, the only guys I really know are Liefeld (through this forum), Stan Lee, and McFarlane. Couple that with the fact that I've been gaming all my life and...

    Lay off.
  10. Aw, I was expecting a Kirby Crimson Jimson.

    Still cool stuff, though.
  11. Aaron123

    Request for art.

I have a pretty clean slate right now. Send me a PM with a full-body screen and I'll see what I can do.
  12. Here we go, here we go. Update day!:

    DJ Aaron123
This came up in my head and I pretty much got the execution dead-on. Really like how this came out.

    Flight
I did this one this morning as sort of a practice. It's pretty good.

Interesting story, I'll be doing a pic tonight for my grandpa's birthday. It'll be of him in front of his truck, maybe with an American flag element. He was in Vietnam and this should come as a nice surprise.
  13. Two new pencils will be up later today.
Whiteperegrine, I still need your character pics.
  14. Yknow, you go on and on about how much you suck for a whole day, and then you come out with two new sketch papers that are fun to look at.

    Can't wait for more, dood.
  15. Yeah. Maybe darken them up a bit and spread some lightning strikes throughout.
  16. I don't think the cloudy background does the pic justice. May want to consider other options.

I notice that threads with more than a page sometimes don't get any attention (or much) when bumped

    [/ QUOTE ]Orly?
My bitterness aside, it looks a lot better. The only thing I can see wrong atm is that the left (her right) kneecap is just a *tad* lower than it should be. It's really slight.
  18. Er...I'm still in school?

    Hooray for head-starts!
  19. Aaron123

    My first COH pic

    *Sigh*

If one were to direct-link to an image from imageshack, you wouldn't have to deal with the pop-ups.

I've been using imageshack for every single pic I post here and have had no problems with it.
  20. New pencil:

This one's for a friend who wanted me to draw him "punching out Batman."

    BAS' Drawings

It's mostly basic body structure things here and there. I think you'd do a lot of good to check out this site.
