Bwah hahahah, welcome to the fold. You probably will continue changing costumes *as much as possible* because ... YOU CAN! hehehe. It is kind of overwhelming.

You might want to make use of some of the new "sets" available in the generator now. Try random too, because sometimes it gives oddly inspirational outfits that you can then just tweak. Without knowing what you'd want out of the costume or character it's a little hard to throw stuff up here

I'm thinking definitely "masks with hair" so you can get a ski-mask kinda thing going, perhaps. Finned gloves and boots are always good for zappy types, but might not be what you're looking for in a 'starter' outfit...

I'm working on the current group (( Blade of Northridge, OJ, BackAlleyScrapper (online version), Hoochie, Mr and Mrs G, Dr (argelia), and Tim)) they're inked and are in color/CIS process now.

I'm also working on Group 7.5 which is going to include Forbin, Warface, Retail Retali8r, Mr Fay, Crestent, Be Healed, Steampunk Charlie and Skyfallen. Those are inked and will be scanned after I'm done with the prior group.

No, I'm not gonna just renumber it to 8. It's already completely screwd in my sketchbooks lol - I put down 12 elves instead of 8 for group 7 already, so that's all messed. *shrug*

When you create a flier, make a visual with screenshots and blurbs. Read some of the other event threads and many of them will have one

When you've got one, email it to the address that Ex showed you, or at least link to it, so you can then have her post it in the thread. Since we cannot post images directly in threads, but mods can, she is the one who would be posting the actual image.

Practicing is the only way that your hand and brain will learn what they're doing together. It's perfectly okay to copy or eyeball things for quite a while until you feel more secure doing your own thing.

Yup the hard part is remembering whether your UI is toggled on or off I always wind up running over to my screenshots folder and checking out the last ones, just in case.

Turn on your UI toggle. In menu/options there's a place to put a bind on keys to do so. OR, click printscreen and immediately paste that into a paint program.

Remember though that the UI is a TOGGLE for the screenshots - and you really have no indicator whether you're using it or not. I use "shift-printscreen" when I've got it on a character, and hit it carefully so as to accurately shift from one mode to another.

If by "we" you mean about a dozen or so very vocal members of this community, sure.

But the bulk of folks seem pretty happy without it, myself included. I know there are a number of people I play with who use vent or whatever, but it's hardly a necessary component.

I was turned down for a supergroup even though I met all the requirements for a character (at random, they happened to show up under Atlas as I had logged onto my new character) and would have been more than happy to provide the SG with loads of prestige and whatever else I could do. The requirement: vent was *mandatory*.

I was pretty pissed off, and they lost a good chance to have a steady SG income.

The login screen should still be able to be copy-pasted into a paint program even with Vista, however you have to do it. Open a paint program, and immediately paste the printscreen there. I don't have Vista, so I can't say that would work. But there's never been a time when the login screen or any UI based screen (like the Enhancements, Icon) have ever pasted to the screenshots directory.

If you've never heard of them, get on it. I will place Shooters and local Protectorites on higher value to finish them sooner than those who I know are more randomly out there in the game.

The newest group includes Abeedo, Ruen Shock, Proton Chicken, Back Alley Scrapper, Amber, Blazing Blue, Demilion and Woodnimph. Also, my friends Jay and Tisha, and Sentai Sage coming in at a half-group. There will be others in half-groups as I pull up those who express interest.

Group 6 is in progress, I have 2 completed CIS/art, 1 completed art, and 5 inked ready for color.
Those include - Dee, Tsukiyomi, Mardun, Rastafariman, Sillver, Dano, Tom/Al, and Boudicia Dark.

Group 7 will include Blade of Northridge, OJ, BackAlleyScrapper (online version), Hoochie, Mr and Mrs G, Dr (argelia), and Tim.

Further inked (but not colored) elves include Acoma, Beka Cavish, Fabulous Summer Heat, Okashimi, Blue Dagger, Thor's Assassin, Drewwolf, Mr Fay, Xeross.

Pencilled but not inked include VJ, Gyffes, Kelly Doc, Squigs, Rosenthal, Timelord, Warface (will be moved up, he's a Shooter after all), Skeseea, Ralok (several versions), Mysterious, IrishGal, and others.

There are plenty of further forms, and I'll probably slip some in before those anyway.

So, if you're still interested in this, give a shout out. Take a look at the page, glance over my DA account and see what they're like. The .doc files are intended to be reasonably private, so remember they're geared specifically toward the player getting them.

I have to say a lot of the newcomers to the world I've created are *quite* heroic, and lots of fun to make. They tend to come out in sets of 8, so slowly but surely everyone will get their elf... If you think I never got your request, please send it again - I had a lot of problems with the prior form hosting, which is why I went to a text only page. A lot of forms came to me incomplete or without a return email addy. Can't really do anything with those. :/

This feature is *not* a City of Heroes feature. It says right in the announcement.

It's an NC hub kind of thing. It's not being integrated into the game itself, it goes over NC games easily because it'd be installed by going through the NC portal for starting your games.

It's not a COH thing. It's just an optional thing NC will do.

I just do not want to HAVE to use an NC portal to open my game.

Which is good, because frankly I don't *want* nor need yet another steam.exe on my computer... I mistrust 'company launchers' from experiences with that one, anyway.
