  3. 1. It's not Premium v. Freebie support, it's VIP v. everyone else support.

    2. VIP support is access to online GMs, which is not the same as a ticket support.

    3. VIP support hasn't begun yet.
  4. The Devs know that this feature is requested and needed and are working on it.

    In case you didn't know, exempting the hiding of GFX in PvP indicates that at least some Devs do indeed think that hiding GFX in PvP is somehow unbalancing. Which is pretty absurd considering:
    1. No one can change their build or toons on the fly based on what powers they see their foes using;
    2. The ability to re-color powers, even in PvP, means that you can't rely on color to identify powers anymore;
    3. The current set-up of all powers using GFX creates a blinding and garish white-wash of overlapping GFX making the identification of powers nearly impossible; and,
    4. There are some pretty powerful buffs from IO Sets (e.g., making someone with no Defensive primary or secondary powers soft capped) that have no GFX at all. That invisible advantage doesn't seem to bother the Devs in 'balancing PvP.'
    So, you pretty much gave the very reason why it should not be taken as a joke. Because, even *if* Positron meant it as a joke, in practice, he's stating their actual policy, which is inherently ridiculous.

    Funny, I just posted my own rant about that.

    Can anything be done about the window opacity resetting itself every time O load in and out of places please? I'm partially sighted and can't read anything on screen with the opacity set to less than about 80%. Having to go into options & set it every time is starting really drive me nuts now.

    I don't know if there's a command for it I can set up a keybind with, that might help until it's fixed permanently.

    It's been like that for a looooong time now. Workaround here:

    Someone in Ustream keeps getting told to hush because they're spamming "I WANTS TO HIDE THE GLOWY BITS OF HASTEN!" or something similar.

    Posi: "No, you mean you want to hide the glowy bit of Hasten in PvP."
    ARGH!!! <slams head into desk>

    Will someone please let Positron know that PvP isn't Magic:The Gathering where if you see someone playing a Yellow Deck (i.e., has Hasten on) then you change the strategies of which cards you pull and play.

    "Oh, no! I see that he has Hasten on! That changes... EVERYTHING!!!!"

    So, Posi, this "Really?!" goes out to you:

    You think that being able to see which powers are being used by a player foe has a significant effect on PvP? Really?!

    Really?! Even after Diminishing Returns, it's important to know how much recharge another foe has, even though there can be up to another 100% recharge working invisibly in the background from IO Set buffs? Really?!

    You think there's someone out there, who, if they could hide the fact that they have Hasten on, they would be overpowered in PvP... Really?!

    <heavy sigh>

    This tirade brought to you by how long it's taking to enable Power Pool customization and the inability to even say it's coming.
  11. More Feedback:

    For the last mission, the obelisk's draw distance needs to be increased. It's really odd that you can't see it upon log-in and doesn't get drawn until you get halfway there.
  12. It really shouldn't be:

    "Hey, can you come check our results that show a particle going faster than light?"

    But rather...

    "Hey, we measured something going fast than light, can you come to find out how are observations were off?"
  13. This doesn't cap soft cap, but, since D3 is all about -ToHit, you usually don't need to get there. Once Mids is updated to I21, I'll probably tweak it since you can take Epic Pools at a lower level and possibly six slot them, which couldn't be done before.

    They're given the model name Model_XXXXX or some approximation. The 'name' attached to the model is '???', which is how their 'name' appears in the NPC chat. So, Demorecord reveals nothing about the unseen character or any more about the observable character other than what we see. The model is just a dummy stand-in.

I wanted to make a non-Arachnos costume for her, so I clicked on a Tailor Token in my email box and then went to claim it.

    The Character Slot window popped up, except the 2nd slot was the generic male.

    So I tried loading up my original costume and saving it to load into the 2nd one. I can't. The 2nd slot is now labeled forever male and, without Super Tailor Access, I can't think of a way to fix this.
    Consider it a sign...
  19. But unlike the other Praetorian zones, First Ward has natural missions for Primals.

    Thus, there should indeed be a First Ward Beacon.

    And Telepads that can take 4 beacons because there are too many beacons!

    If you chose Reward Merits, then it's 5 extra Merits. If you chose 4x Merits, then it's 20 Merits.
  22. At least BAB didn't show up when the Freedom Phalanx did in Alastor's arc.

    But... shouldn't he be there if he's one of the sigs that could die? He's on the poster. Rather than leaving BAB out, they should be calling it "The Surviving Eight," no?

    For that matter, is Numina really on the Freedom Phalanx, or has she been presumed to be since she's also part of the Surviving Eight?

    It's still a mess.
