Quote:Someone slier than me figured it out and passed it along.I believe it was Zombie Man who pointed out on VirtueUnited that [Wolf Pet] is a valid Power Link.
The question is, how do we get it? Complete all four rewards for the Halloween trial? Pay-for with Paragon Points? Howl underneath Positron's window at night?
It can be yours for... ONE MILLION POINTS! -
Quote:Please recheck. That can't possibly be right and sane at the same time.Hi there,
The 440 Paragon Point Price is intended and yes, the Cape you're referring to is included in the Magic Costume Bundle.
Hope that answers your question!
Unless you can explain why one piece of a set costs more than the whole set together?
Especially when such a piece has been long time bugged, and AFAIK, still not fixed? (Which sort of derails the anticipated argument: "It gives you access to all cape styles at level 1!" Which is likely a bug, and not for the female model it doesn't, which is also missing a Magic Cape style, Occult.) -
1. The floor texture here was blinking for me.
2. The bloom around these lamps is a really fake and pixelated glow. That would be fine if they were at a distance, but they're real noticeable when you pass by them. I would think that with the bloom effects in the game, this wouldn't need to be faked. (minor nitpick)

The two pillars are casting a shadow when the rest of the wall isn't. This is back end of the graveyard.

When Dr. Kane calls for his special friend, he's not facing the right way.
It's not right we just leave a murderer behind vowing to rebuild his creature. -
In the run we just did, the 99 zombies didn't spawn in the graveyard. They stopped at about 20.

He is just a skilled wold, and nothing more!
(He stands, sits, scratches, lies down.) -
The trial is listed for 2-4 players.
Right now, it is not starting up for 2 players. Not when both sign up as individuals and not when as a team (with and without locking).
BTW: Global channel is: HALLOWEEN 2011 -
Really nice!!! Excellent work!!
Now, my normal nitpicks....
Wolf: zomg! want nao. non-combat pet. combat pet. base pet. gimme. Why he no howl? (But don't make him a constant howler.)
Moon: Please make this moon (and all the moons in CoH) opaque. We should see stars through it. Bonus points if it washes out the stars nearby it.
Turkey: Why does the abandoned turkey on the banquet table have a firefly aura instead of the flies aura? Are fireflies now carnivorous?
Like the glowing eyes in the windows. Nice tribute to that other Haunted House. I guess renaming Dr. Kane to Master Kane is too close?
Gazebo: I attack the gazebo!!! -
Copy Tool DOWN!
Since Test was wiped (good bye bases) and I had no Freedom server toons, I have no toons on Test to test anything above level 1.
Also, all new toons are being forced into the Tutorial. I thought after the first was created, we would get a choice to skip the tutorial. So, if there is any auto-level-granting going on, I wouldn't know because can't bypass the Tutorial. -
Quote:It's being sold for 3 Billion INF.That doesn't necessarily mean that the enhancement in question is worth that, though.
Worth is relative, but something like this becomes a temptation to use RMTers, which starts giving virtual items a real life value.
Because it is in great demand, but very rare, the value spikes while demand is high. And because it had such a high value on the market, the Devs exacerbated the problem by pricing that IO higher in eMerits than the other PvP IOs rather than lower to ease demand -- which was the wrong thing to do. You don't want anything being so highly valued and so hard to get that RMTers become an attractive alternative. -
They oddly appear as trainers. Click on the drop down menu on the mini-map and make sure you have the trainers enabled to show. You can also easily find them if you temporarily turn on names because they have really long names because the name of the arc is included in the name.

Freedom is the best server. You definitely want to go to Freedom.

Quote:That would be a sweet deal.I wouldn't mind buying some Gladiator Armor +3% Defense IOs for 100pp each...
Wait, did I just say that?
... someone find me my meds!
That IO can be bought with Enough Empyrean Merits that equals doing all four iTrials once a day for 10 days. In the real world, that time spent in working would be worth hundreds of times more than the worth of 100 PP.
Any, I would welcome Pay-To-Win if it meant I could pay to permaban certain forumites. -
You're not doing anything wrong, it's a known bug.
Of course, the settings are found under: Menu > Options > Graphics Tab > User Interface Options Section
People have been complaining about the color options not sticking lately (the opacity setting has been bugged as not sticking for a very long time).
Settings not sticking can sometimes be solved by saving your settings to the default file (/optionsave, /wdwsave, /chatsave) and, without zoning, exit the game the long way: countdown to login screen and exit buttons. This sometimes forces the server to remember the settings.
Some have found that logging onto another toon where it is sticking and coming back to the non-sticking toon helps.
Otherwise, this workaround for the non-saveable opacity setting will work to also restore the right colors. -
Quote:I'm psure it did!
To them I said: "I am a servant of the Secret Fire, wielder of the Flame of Anor! The Dark Fire will not avail you, Flame of Udûn! Go back to the Shadow! You shall not psas!!"
They changed their tune immediately.
And shouldn't it be *spelling* check? -

Quote:That's because previously, no one would say, "I'm going to be a Villain!" and create a Hero. But with the new tutorial, when given the chance to steal someone's power and kill them, they say, "Sure!" and then find out that they really are a villain at heart.I've definitely seen more traffic in the newbie area in Mercy Island on Virtue.
