Quote:What is this murder of crows aura I keep seeing people talking about?Quote:Is one of the rewards for doing the new halloween trial which will be available from the 20th, 2 days after this pack is nolonger available.
Remember people it's limited time only, will be removed from the store on the 18th.Quote:The Halloween pack will be available in the store until November 18th. Which is a month from today.
The Trial also gives a choice of 5 Tricks {Edit: I mean *Treats*!} (the same Treats you would get Trick or Treating) or the Bats Aura.
The Trial is available during the Halloween Event: Thursday, Oct 18 through Wednesday, Nov 2.
All the other "Monster" Halloween costume pieces (along with Bats Aura) are available through the Paragon Market from now, Tuesday, October 16 through Friday, November 18. -

Quote:Ah, yes, it does. The in-game Store says it's a Chest Detail, so, Beta has it in the right place.Note: On the Beta server, the Ascot appears under Chest Details > Jackets/Trenchcoats/Robes/Shirts - and appears as it should on the model.
However...
The Ascot on Beta only uses one color, the secondary has no effect. And it has a red stone in it. So... the secondary color should be able to change the color of the stone. -
Quote:Possible? Very likely. Is it set up that way now? No.I have a question: Is it possible to set the Bats aura to Combat Only?
I have another question: Is it possible to make it so we can use the original heads (bald) inside the Think Tank? They'd fit just fine.
Possible? Probably. Is it set up that way now? No. Hopefully there will be a 'fishbowl' helmet someday with astronaut details for what you want. -
Quote:The Bats aura is a reward from the Halloween Trial. That's probably why it's listed as being a 'bonus' to the bundle... so that no one can say they paid for what they already earned in-game.Are any of these available as a reward from doing the halloween trial?
The Halloween Trial also has the Ravens costume change emote and the Bolt Emblem which is not in the Store. -
These are the best faces in the game:
The Devs just love to use them on NPCs (they exist in the Devs' version of the character creator and have been used quite often in the past year in new factions), but they won't give them to me!
The Devs hate me.
The above are better than:

Quote:The purchasing window is only from now until November 18 (and presumably again next Halloween season).Clarification: are these temporary, just for the Halloween event period, or permanent costume pieces we can use all year 'round?
Once you purchase them, they are available all year round (just like the Pumpkin Head or Santa Gloves are usable all year round though only earnable during a limited time event). -
Fish Monster Gloves are not available for jackets with short or pushed up sleeves.

It's a Nemesis trap!!!

The Fish Monster gloves and boots are pre-colored. To be grey. I hate that. How can we match it to other items? This is the same problem we had with the Steampunk backpack.
So, here's the thing: If I choose black/black for the gloves and boots, they're grey. If I chose white/white, they're a lighter grey. Can't match that to a black or white costume. Colors only slightly tint them. -

Batman Brave and Bold is an homage to old timey Batman-for-kids of several decades ago. It's where the campy TV series came from. And really odd crossovers were a staple of the genre. Need I remind you of Scooby Doo meets Batman and Robin?
Batman meets Space Ghost is tame in comparison.
I'd love to see Batman as a guest of Space Ghost Coast to Coast and go head to head with Zorak. -
Quote:Two of the redside GMs can be forced to spawn which is something blueside doesn't have.Quote:3 Actually.
Deathsurge is spawned when 100 gremlins are killed
Scrapyard Spawns when 100 Scrapyarders are killed
Caleb spawns when 100 Spectral Demons have been killed. -
Kronos is actually an open zone ambush from an arc. Just like Babbage is from the Synapse TF (although there is another zone-spawning Babbage in Boomtown).

Quote:Do you have SuperGroup colors on in SG mode?I can't find any other discussions about this subject so I thought I would ask my question on this thread. When I try to make a new character or change costumes of an old one the resistance armor, shoulder armor, and chest armor does not give the option to add a second color to them. ie. make them glow. I can choose a prime color to the pieces but the secondary options are grey'ed out and can not be clicked or scrolled for choices. Did they discontinue the glowing effect? I've never made the glowing effect and saw it in the forums and wanted to try. Thank you.

Quote:Odd. But, it's still there:It's a bit disconcerting that Test no longer seems to be on Server Status page, or at least not that I can see.
Server -
Distractions: The two main ones is trying to heal someone being disintegrating, I lost track of the beam; and destroying the terminals which is a classic case of scrapperlock. If you're going for the Avoids the Green stuff, tell players not to worry about disintegrators (if everyone fill up on green insps, they should be able to take care of their own disintegration) and not to attack the terminals.
Green player powers, especially Epiphany make it hard to see the beam. Everyone going for the badge should use a costume slot for customized powers which are a medium grey.
Not stopping at the 5 second warning: This is where lag and travel suppression will get you. If you wait until the Splash Warning, it could be too late. Gotta watch the timer in the Objective Box and at 5 seconds, stop whatever you're doing and just watch for the beam. I do that now because I have a macro that announces the beam at the 5 seconds mark with the wolf Howl emote (for an auditory warning) and chat that says to spread out.
People not spreading out: Hey, if everyone that was paying attention actually did run and spread out at the 5 second mark, it would give a clue to those not paying attention to also run and look.
