3- totally. If they can't let you keep those wings, I hope they put a draconic recipe in there for you
-
I just worry that it might bork the rest of the account at some time in the future, and that'd suck to have been playing for a while with it, and then suddenly have it all messed up.
-
It was also for the rp forums, they had lots of interactive story telling there.
-
If you've played the Half Life games, they have a 'fire/radiation/injury' indicator by briefly blinking side panels in your vision. I think that'd probably be the best, sporadic visual indicators at certain distances away. It's not TOO exploitable, and I think it'd be of great use to those who need it.

Blue caves, no, but the Oranbegan tunnels/rooms, yes. And not just "more of those maps and plenty of them" I mean more an expansion brought on by, say, an alternate universe's version of them - we encounter at least one of those, by rescuing the group of mages who call our own tactics of beating up their captors 'barbaric'. My main's love interest is an Akarist from another universe similar to that one, actually. So... I'm all for more Oranbega.

Bwahahaha! Zekiran has no answer!
DOOOOOM!
:P

Hahahahah! But at least I can sound like I know where to get the answer, right?
lol - and I think this all showed up in a dream I had last night too, I got some weird little ding that said 42 and got some item, and I checked MY badges, but since I already HAD all of those, 42 appeared twice...
I forum too much, lol. -
Well, there are lots of other craftable wings you can get in recipes either by drops or buy buying them at Wentworths/Black Market. Bigger versions of the demon wings are Draconic, and smaller ones are Bat. (adorable) The only sets of wings that are not available that way are the Angel, Demon, and the Valkyrie pack ones you can get by purchasing the mac pack.

Wow.... Well I'd suggest taking this to a gm or nc support, because that's really odd and not supposed to happen.
I wonder if your account got hit with some other person's info somehow... or ... I dunno! Don't count on keeping the badges/wings, but hey, score one for honesty. -
O.O well, that's one hell of a glitch!
You didn't have a trial or an old account before now at all? -
Well I'd hope that there would be a male / male-toon version of this for us ladies.
-
Hehehe, I have a selection of interesting females, though I myself am allergic to pretty much everything in most cakes...
-
Oh I would so love an Oranbega expansion. THAT I think would be way more fun for me, than moon or sea stuff. I love oranbega.
-
Yeah but Ryzom.
lol. We mean "well designed with good people to make good missions"...
Myself I ... kinda wish we'd get a bit of a break on anything huge. I have barely even tapped things from 5 or 6 issues ago, let alone diving into any of the newest stuff. I'd like the dust to settle a bit and for some bug fixes to be front-burnered rather than any major new stuff.
Then again I seem to average about 2-3 issues behind everything - I only made my first dual blade scrapper like... 6 months ago, along with a plant troller... -
Database server is probably borked. It's not just you. Those who are already on, seem to be on, but no one's getting in. Different computers access it - the db server is not the same as the game server, and sometimes it's down.

Also, I'd like to point out that CoH's current main competitor, WoW, certainly isn't winning people over with graphical superiority.

Seriously.
This game's realistic graphics are why I love just *looking at it* all. I can't even stomach most of the other games out there purely on the basis of first appearances. UI, all over the place? Feh! Brightly garish cartoon colors and balloony characters? No thank you.
Oooh, their mouths move?
Why? So they can make slightly more detailed machinima? *shrug* -
It's spelled "rogue".
OP: some things are worth looking in to, others not so much. None of them "because x or y company is doing it!".
Voices, while it would be interesting, would hog way too much more bandwidth and cause even more lag. No thanks. I'd settle for a wider variety of standard sounds from our toons, selectable at creation, based on gender and size.
Other bits are entirely cosmetic, and are already being done. Power Customization is not among those, and I won't expect much out of GR - perhaps there will be *some* but I seriously doubt there will be any great changes in our powers.
Engine overhaul... meh, it ain't broke. As long as there are enough devs working to make sure that any changes don't bork the rest of the game's systems, I can't see it being necessary to do anything "all at once" - small parts of the engine may already be altered, we don't even need to know about that. So long as the game *works* and *is fun*, ... I see nothing wrong with an engine like we've got already. -
I think Sage was being silly. With all the GR threads it's nice to have a break.
-
Yup, I agree.
Actually I've been thinking they should just do away with the other enhancements entirely and concentrate on filling out as many ranges of as many different powersets as possible with IO's. They're way more fun... -
That thread!
I only clicked through the pages, I didn't actually use search because I was lazy the other day. -
Don't let the door hit you on the way out. We're keeping your stuff, since you don't want it.
Including the teams, the task forces (running nightly on most servers) and the leveling the "way it was" before the "big nerf" (lol). -
>_>
I don't play villains, anyway, so... yeah unless it's got a whole slew of "in between-ness" (including zones, powersets and maybe unique AT's) I don't see this as anything I'm really flabbergasted about. I'll buy it, to be sure, but... not my thing, personally. -
>_<
BBQ plays way more'n you, I suspect, since they know what would *actually happen*.
Yes, indeed, people would fight over the star, because if there's any extra bonus, there ARE people who want it. Period. Would you volunteer to turn over the star when it's your team? Someone else says, "hey, I want the bonus! give me star!"
... How about no. -
The only one I can think of is, if they have a "middle ground" where you're considered neither truly good nor evil, would be Trickster's Jackalope. He's never fully controlled his fire powers, and he IS the magically-created offspring of Coyote and Crow, sorta, so when you get the trickster god involved in anything, it's hard to remain "entirely" good.
I don't really have many others who'd make the transition. I play heroes and I like it, and my few villains are villainous. Well, I think it would be funny to have Barbed Lifeline my zombie/dark mm change to good - after all, her zombies are named Skippydoodle, Twitterpated and Boogiedeboogie... And her sg's logo is a pink and purple heart...
