They'll probably do it like they do the majority of new sets that get released lately - they give it to every AT that makes sense at the time. We didn't have to wait for Willpower, Dual Blades, or Shield Defense to get proliferated after all; They were already given to the relevant ATs upon their introduction to the game.

The only sets that didn't exactly follow this format are those limited to certain ATs (To date, these include three sets: Manipulation [Blaster Secondary], Assault [Dominator Secondary], and Mastermind primaries. Every other primary or secondary type is shared between each AT; Stalkers are a special case, in that while they share primaries/secondaries with every Melee AT, anything ported to them requires shuffling) at the onset (Electric Assault and Mental Manipulation, for example).

So, it's almost assured that Blasters and Corrupters will get Dual Pistols, and Defenders will probably get it as well.*

*WARNING: This is an educated guess based on previous data. It's not iron-clad, nor gospel. We'll see when they finally release the sets, but this is the most likely scenario.

Heh. No problem - a lot of logic puzzles actually set you for taking it at face value, with the real answer covered up in a perfectly logical fashion that isn't immediately obvious.

It's a logic puzzle, because most people would probably pick the nice, clean barbershop. However, when you stop to think about it... Who cuts his hair? He clearly doesn't cut it himself. That means that, in the messy shop, he had his hair done by the person across the street (who has a perfect haircut himself), which resulted in his hair being in shambles.

While the other fellow may have a messy shop, clearly he does good work. The same cannot be said of the other gentleman.

Dull Pain, slotted for heals, is a 60% HP boost (and an 80%-of-base heal.) With SO's it's up 2/3 of the time.

The thing where I'd expect IO'd Invuln to be a gamebreaker is when you get capped Defense (10x mitigation vs. whatever damage types you get) on top of the severe S/L resist on top of a little bit of Regen (Very rough guess, you can get from the 180% of Health-alone to 260% with a minimal investment of slots) and an occasional heal... you're going to have your holes, and you're going to have your "Don't even bother." (I'm thinking tanks, admittedly.)

Oh, I know that DP is a 60% heal when it's up. I was just making sure that when accounting for it's total HP-boost during the entire cycle of 180s (120s up time), that it was indeed ~40%, meaning that if it were an 'always on' power, it would have provided a 40% boost to health with just IO slotting (6-slotted, 3 recharge and 3 heals).

The only thing I didn't do was figure out what the base HP/S run of the healing portion would have been (making it an equivlant Regeneration bonus), but I still think that at the end of the day they're both very competitive sets. I play both, on both ATs in question here. Can't really make a bad choice here, IMO.

All about what you're pairing it with. Anything with even a little additional mitigation will be beastly. Or, shall I say... bearable? :3c
