  1. My fellow Kheldians...

I move that this evening, September 23, 2011, we undertake the current Signature Hero Story Arc (Part 1) for this week's all Kheld TF.

Is there a second or does someone want to amend the motion?

    Come on folks...BE HEARD!!!

I've got some with your name on it. Glad you enjoyed it.

    Until tomorrow...

Now now, griefing is such a harsh word ...It almost feels as though I am on trial...very well then...

    Btw...Are you in that screenshot???

Hmmm...<looking...looking>...Oh, there you are!!! The little shadowy figure down front.

    One question...

Is it possible to use grant invisibility on the grant invisibility icon?

Because, well, I don't see a grant invisibility icon on that screenshot.

And...If that screen is right then AIB is aight!
(Be sure to say that with all the jive that was used when it was said, "If the glove doesn't fit you must acquit!")

Don't blame me. Blame your unruly little stealth proc.

    AIB has been exonerated!!!
  4. So, how about we do that Sutter tonight...since it is the WST.

  5. Here is my crew from the same event.

    Looking forward to next week.

  6. So, who is showing up for tonight's all Kheld action and what are we going to roll?
  7. So, tonight...

"Same Kheld time same Kheld channel!"
  8. I ran the finale of my chess themed AE arc, "Wouldn't you prefer a nice game of chess?," with a team of 8 last night.

The spawn sizes seemed significantly smaller than they used to be...Why?

Thanks in advance for the reply.

    that.

Otoh, if he brought both of those into PvP, I'll wager the WS will be fishfood
    long before the PB...
With my PB at 50+1 I defeated a level 50 Chimera AV using some incarnate abilities. (Purples + some iStuff)

With my WS at 50 I defeated a level 49 Chimera AV without any incarnate powers. (Purples + no iStuff)

I believe that with the forthcoming changes to PB I will be able to do the latter as well for it will be easier to drop to human form with the Lightform changes and inner light lasts longer than buildup and Photon Seekers now recharge more quickly.

Neither of my Khelds are built for PvP. But, yes, I have and still do engage in PvP from time to time. My PB always seems better...unless, of course, there is alot of fuel strewn about on which my Shade can feast.

    Aye!

I prefer a Rage Clone for several reasons.

    1. It would be able to be double stacked which would easily increase a PBs DPS beyond (perhaps well beyond) the current buildup and/or the power on test known as inner light.

    2. There are SO many things that I can do with my PB during the crash that it would not be much of an issue for me...e.g. Shifting Forms, Hasten, Conserve Power or Lightform, Healing teammates, Healing Myself, taunting, positioning, turning on shields or toggles, using Pulsar, using temp attack powers (if need be) etc.

    3. I associate Fury with Brutes. After all, it is...inherent.

That glowing puffball is the Lightform. And as such, since we are no longer stuck in that form, the title of the power should be changed from Lightform to something else...once again I submit, "Resplendence."

And this is precisely the reason why the devs should do something more along the line of what I (and some others) have suggested...

Namely, lower the resistance numbers the power gives but allow it to give resistance to Psionic damage as well.

The numbers should be lowered enough so as not to render the three Human Shields and Dwarf Form unnecessary to reach resistance caps.

Can I get a second on this???

But, yeah, about the whole human vs. dwarf tanking thing...the devs really should try out some of our other proposals...at least on test...

A novel idea...??? (I don't remember reading of it before).

Still, I'd rather see a Rage Clone...oh well...I reckon I'll just have to get used to inner light.

Yes, the Devs still need to listen to us (especially ME ) on this matter.

Check my previous posts if you are dying for details.

P.S. Lightform should be retitled "Resplendence."
  15. Ah, the fabulous "Warshade Brigade" (excluding the PB). Nice pictures.

Oh, and, it was nice to have Knowmad back. I knew Knowmad was mad when like a nomad he wandered far from our beloved Paragon City. Now that the nomad known as Knowmad has returned I now know that Knowmad is no longer mad. Need we know more?
  16. Lady Grey TF.

    Just thought about Hami...

Wondering how it will play out...

I hope some of you have holds because I don't.

"Basically what I struggle with is how to use my forms. Just for survivability I found myself in Dwarf most of the time and going to Nova when eclipse was up and I could use mire to boost that damage.

I'm just struggling with how to play my tri-form. Strategy and tactic tips would really be appreciated."

For now, just enjoy your time rocking out in Dwarf. Later when you have more recharge and permaeclipse blast more.

When blasting in nova on teams I would recommend trying to position yourself away from anyone on your team who might be a target for an AOE mez.

You can target through your teammates as you no doubt know. Let them take the mez for you.

In particular I recommend getting BEHIND the enemies zone of attack. Just make sure you don't aggro another group when doing this. It is a great way to avoid getting mezed.

In other words buff yourself up (with mires and eclipse when available) and then bounce to the other side of the group and blast them. Hopefully, you will not draw aggro but if you do you should have bounced far enough away from the enemies that you can switch to dwarf without issue. This is more difficult in close quarter combat but it can still be done. As the enemies are approaching you and you switch to Dwarf jump BACK into the group (presumably) where your teammates are and keep beating down enemies.
  19. Here is the PB crew from last night. We had a great time.

    Congratulations though.

I am confident that you will do the same to the Level 54 as well.
  21. I have read that the Diag chance for -regen is heavily resisted by AVs and as such it is better to use Reactive to solo them.

However, if you are going to be using Lore Pets and other Incarn powers then I am sure you will be just fine with either selection.

You posted the build. I only changed three things...

I dropped the Dam/End in Hecatomb and Ragnarok and replaced them with an Achilles -res proc. I also dropped the Dam/End in Armageddon and replaced it with a Fury of the Gladiator -res proc.
  23. Oh, and I should have put this is in there as well.

Ask not what can be done for your Khelds - ask what you can do with your Khelds!

O.K. on second thought...no, it is o.k. to ask what can be done for your Khelds too.
  24. [First Mate Serene Servant glides swiftly over the heads of the crew onboard the War and Peace, a stately galleon of days long past. Inexplicably, she transforms from a tiny squid into a giant lobster landing with a loud thud followed by a powerful bright foot stomp. Again, she morphs, this time into a svelte beauty with purple hair and glowing white eyes. After several more blasts of bright light, the crew stands at attention. Behind her one approaches, he walks slowly, smoothly, his countenance stern, his skin color green. And yet, in another sense, there is nothing green about him.

In an otherworldly voice he begins to speak…]

    My fellow Kheldians...

We have been told that there is a bright and beautiful land that awaits us beyond these troubled waters. Some know nothing of it; others care nothing for it and still others, the few, the proud, the Khelds, long to dwell therein.

Many outsiders HATE our ATs. But our journey was, and is not, about them. It is about us. It is about the betterment of OUR kind!

However, our world is full of uncertainty. Our world is filled with confusion. We are (and have) been set adrift upon a sea of despair, an ocean of conflict. We long to see that reassuring lighthouse; to set foot upon that solid ground, to live the Kheldian dream!

And yet, with all of the incomplete thinking, with all of the bickering and complaining, with all of the "pet projects" and with all of the Kheld on Kheld violence, our outlook grows dark. The sky turns black. The wind blows fiercely. And the waves roll violently.

Not only are we all in the same boat. But we are all seasick.

You see, while we very often agree about what's wrong with our ATs, we very rarely agree about what is right with our ATs.

Perhaps what’s wrong with our world is that we so rarely ask what is right!

And so, on this great day, I urge you to pause; even if it be for but a moment. Reflect upon not only your own concerns but also upon the concerns of your fellow Kheldians. Rally as one. Lend a helping hand. Fasten yourselves to the deck even as you throw a lifeline to those who are in need. Do your best to see not only to your own wellbeing but also to the wellbeing of those around you. For if we do these things I trust that we will reach that safe harbor. We will walk upon that shore. We will bask in the resplendent glory of the sun. And we will be glad!

My name is AIB, this is my ship, and I do not take kindly to mutineers!
