Wow, looks very professional! I SO need to practice more...
I'm gonna sit down and draw 'til my fingers bleed or my wacom dies. -
I think finding a good concept and sticking with it is a sign of a good RP'er. -"My character is an elf who knows kung fu! No wait.. he's a cyborg from the future now! Bah.. being a cyborg is boring, I'm turning him into a vampire lord."
-
I got another one but I'm not sure I should post it here.

I've seen a couple of 'em at Icon. (where else? ) There's very, very few [censored] superheroes in mainstream comics and I'm sure that's one of the reasons. I'm sure there would be more of them in the game if you could create bishounen type characters.
-
Thanks, but I'm sure I can do better. Just have to get my creative juices flowing.
-
I'm glad you like my stuff, I still need more practice though. I've decided to start drawing on a regular basis and I've ordered a wacom. I think it'll make things much easier.

She uses ordinary tech gloves.. it's artistic licence.

I have to say they looked better before coloring. I think it's because of all the lines getting the same thickness. I'd recommend inking by hand or using a tablet.
-
Now in colour! One of my few attempts at coloring anything. Tell me what you think.
-
Thanks! I have a clean version of it as well. I think I will try and color it in photoshop and see how it looks. Or maybe I could get someone with mad photoshop skills to do it for me.
-
Not bad. The lines are a little blurry though, but that shouldn't be too hard to fix.
-
I was feeling creative so here's my character Royal Flush . Sadly I suck at colouring so it's just black&white.
-
Not bad. not bad at all. But a little more "oomph" wouldn't hurt.
-
Oooh.. nice colours. I wish I could use colours. Anyway, I'm inspired, perhaps I'll do something myself. =)

The whole club should have a power dampening field. :P

I like roleplaying in Pocket D and I've met many good roleplayers. It's a natural meeting place and it's nice to be able to roleplay with both heroes and villains. I'm also having a hard time finding a reason for any of my characters to sit under a statue in the middle of Galaxy City.
There are always some non-roleplayers acting like total idiots (but you can always put them on /ignore and after a while they will leave out of boredom).
Don't wanna sound bitchy but what really annoys me are the semi-roleplayers. They often seem okay to begin with but then they start mixing up IC and OOC, their pets run all over the place, they use powers, gives everyone bubbles or other visual and highly irritating buffs and they use info from your bio (which is why I just have a physical description nowadays) and they godmod frequently.
Perhaps they could become good roleplayers with some practice, but in the meanwhile they're very annoying. -
(("Target is to be considered criminally retarded"? lol.. ^.^))

Ooh.. a glitch! *runs off to look in every nook and cranny*

One thing that bugs me is people who roleplay without having read the backstory. Sure.. the CoX world is based on our own, but with a lot of differences. The Rikti invasion is probably the one with the biggest impact since they attacked the world's biggest cities and destroyed over one third of the world's armies and killed off a whole bunch of heroes. Our crime syndicates, terrorist organisations and third world dictators are small fry compared to the ones in CoX.
People should keep that in mind when they are playing. It's annoying when my patriotic superheroine get's blamed for supporting the U.S. occupation of Iraq, keeping talibans in Guantanamo and other real world events when all she's doing is defending her homeland against Rikti invaders. This game is about heroes and villains. My two cents. -
