There's a big effort going on to try and save the game by getting NCSoft to sell it to another publisher.
But if the worst does happen on Novemebr 30th, then there will also be a player-made and run attmept to create some kind of online sueprhero experience for the community as a spiritual successor to COH.

NcSoft Sucks ***, Sorry so freaking Piss at them right now for doing this, NcSoft gave us no reason why.
This game does well on Western side of the World, but in Europe, not so well, we still dish a lot of new things, Content and now issue 24 will never be.
NcSoft does not care about us and it's look like they only care about Making money off us, I will never play another NcSoft game again.
They will not sell the license to this game to another Company, there plans are to buried it in there Vault.
Never play another NcSoft game, If you feel pride for our game, then it as well, I Superratz am Proud of all of you Coh people, Love, Friendship will last for a lifetime.

That really tells us nothing about whether or not Paragon Studios (remember, most of PS was working on a second project) was profitable. If it was, my back of the envelope scribbled calculations say, "It's gotta be close."
That's the thing. NCSoft shuttered the studio, not just CoH.

Im sad to hear COH will be shutting down. So many years of sleepless nights playing COH. All the countless hours of task forces and missions with random people. It really makes me wanna cry because im losing something that was a big part of my life for the past 7-8 years. I made so many good friends through the years and will never forget how much fun it is playing this game. I could never play any other RPG MMO game because COH was ALOT more fun to play. I love this game so much and it kills me that its shutting down.
Am i really going to lose all my caricatures for good???
