Master NCsoft Account problem

I cannot log into my Master NCsoft account I have never changed the password or log in name to it and when I try to "verify" my email it says it does not exist in there system. To see if it was only my main account having this problem I used my other ncsoft account it does Verify the email gives me the password and account name to it but still says it's wrong? Has this been happening to others lately? Just want to check the City of Heroes status, only game that is sub for any ncsoft game.

Oh yes and also with my main master ncsoft account whenever i send a petition in game it does send it to MY email address but when i try to verify it says does not exist lol what.

I'd say your only recourse is to call NCSoft, as regardless of their sunsetting CoH, the fact is you *could* play other things under that account, so it's in their best interest to get your account back up...

..Unless you were flagged as "a bag of Nope" on their end... in which case, the call is still what you'd have to do to find that out, maybe.

It is perhaps a fault of a hacked account, or a really easy password, or just plain dumb blind luck your info was a lil' corrupted.

They'll fix it. Watch. Call 'em.

It's not your email you need to use, but your login name. Possibly the same name you use to log into the forum.

I'm having this exact same problem. I wanted to log in and check my refund status, but it doesn't recognize my e-mail address as valid, and won't let me use my e-mail address to recover my user ID (which is, in fact, my e-mail address, if I remember correctly).

This is bizarre, as I got a message just a few days ago from filing a /petition sent to the e-mail address NCSoft says is not in its records.

NOt sure what to do except give up and hope it fixes itself.

It took them 2 weeks to get back to me on this issue, but they finally fixed it. Send in your ticket NOW.

I fixed mine. I was trying to use my email address, not the account name. I've gotten used to being able to use them interchangeably on most sites.

My bad.

Yes i used my account name in ncsoft and then email address just to verify the "forgot your password?" Nothing works sending a ticket atm.

Like i said have never changed the NCsoft account name nor my password was logging in fine to check status of account since last week of Aug. Something must have happened.

I am also having the exact same issue. I had not changed my password to my Master Account but no matter how many times i have reset my password or had support reset it for me nothing works.

You cannot contact them by phone or chat, only email and when they send you stock responses after three days saying they have reset your password YET AGAIN, it really drives me crazy lol.

I've been trying to get this resolved for almost 8 days now. And i have to add, NCSoft has by far the WORST customer service i've ever been the victim of. Not being able to speak to a human being no matter what is just the absolute pits.

heres a thought...

How about, instead of forcing customers to post on a totally unrelated game site about their issues before they are resolved, like shown here...

Players dont want to learn tricks to get their support issues resolved, they just want their support issues resolved. Dont turn getting support into a metagame with NCSoft as the instance boss...

ok, i know what the problem was, for me anyway. My broadband has been upgraded, same provider, but they just upgraded the exchange and cabling, and as part of that work our ip address has changed. As a result it seems that seems to have raised a flag on my account which somehow royally screwed it.

Anyway, i have just recieve an email saying they have temporarily authourised my ip address to access the account, so i have FINALLY been able to get in and verify everything is ok. jeebus but that was hard work...
