Hi everyone,

It breaks my heart to have to say this, but I want you all to know that it has been my honor to be a part of this community, even in a little way, and for a short time. The passion of you, the players, as well as your fervent support of this game has been nothing short of amazing, and humbling.

This was my first (and hopefully not my last!) job in the gaming industry, and you all have set the bar so high. I can only hope that I'll be seeing you all again in the near future.

You guys showed me how amazing a community can be when it puts its mind to it, and I will forever be grateful to all of you. Thank you SO MUCH.

Thank you, for everything you and the rest of the team's done for the game. Here's to hoping there's an even bigger, better project out there (hopefully not being run by NCSoft ) that can use a community and development team as awesome as you've all been.

Hopefully today won't be the last farewell, though? I'd love for everyone, players and staff alike, to have one last gigantic hurrah at Pocket D, Atlas Park, wherever before the servers close, even if the staff's just logged in as ordinary characters like us.

I wish all the folks at Paragon Studios all the best. Must be a very difficult time there over the water.

I sincerely hope you all manage to secure your futures. Whilst it is sad to lose a game as wonderful as this, at least I'm not uncertain about my job (not today anyway!).

Thanks for the awesome Freitag, and I wish that you and everyone at Paragon Studios comes out okay on this. You guys truly deserve better, and the way NCSoft has opted to end it is classless in my opinion. I hope that you, Zwilenger, Positron, Dr. Aeon, Dink, Warwitch, Synapse, Arbiter Hawk, and the team of Moderator 13s all manage to come out great and any company that takes you in has gained something tremendous.

Thank you for the pleasure given to all of us players. I know this is if anything an even greater shock to you than it was to us.

Thanks to all the team that built and supported this amazing game and premiere community. Chris and I played 8 years and loved every minute of it... I only wish we didn't have to say goodbye to the amazing characters, people, and places we love so much.

This game has had some incredibly community mods. CuppaJo, Ex_Libris, Zwillinger, Freitag, Lighthouse had his great moments, Avatea...pretty damned cool bunch of people.
