Dear Devs, a few things

I recently realized there were a number of powers added to the power pools while I was gone, and looking over them thought; Uhhhh why? 'Don't have enough slots for the powers we HAVE let alone introducing more useless ones'.

So, out of an impulse to understand what the deal was, I actually took Quantum Acceleration and Quantum Flight on my PB, a modified Gold Standard that Plasma (may the light illum his name) graced these forums with in an effort to let us retarded jackasses that have been talking smack about useless khelds were play and SEE.

Taking these powers, I thought 'cute gimmick'.

Dude. I don't think I've ever had this much fun playing this game just flying around retarded. I triple slotted them, and he's FAST. REAL FAST. It's soooo much fun.

So, since it's like 0630 and I haven't slept yet, wanted to say thanks for adding a really amazing addition to a time honored favorite. I have had sooo much fun with this it was almost worth the price of ReUpping just to do this.

Stand UP.
FIGHT BACK!

Oh yes. Quantum Acceleration/Afterburner definitely gives you the feeling of "MACH ONE!!!"

On that note, I think I missed this when these powers were first released, and my experiments have been inconclusive: which is better to slot, Flight or Afterburner? And how much enhancement is needed to reach the "new" top flight speed?

@Winter. Because I'm Winter. Period.
I am a blaster first, and an alt-oholic second.

My new favorite thing to do with my Peacebringer is to shift into the wispy light form, activate prestige power slide for the glow, then fly REALLY fast. It makes me feel like a comet in the sky!

Max Flight Speeds:
Normal : 58.6
Afterburner : 73
Afterburner, one common flight IO : 79
Two : 84.9
Three : 87.1
Three, plus a +flight alpha : 87.9
Doesn't seem to go any higher, even with six 50(+5) IOs.

Fly, with one common IO, is already 83.1, and a second slot in it is well into the 87.9 cap.

I went with Fly, and looks like that was the right impulse.

Also, not surprised you are the one getting me these numbers, haha.

Well, both powers should certainly get a single enhancement into their first, free slot, but after that, anything in Fly isn't doing squat unless Afterburner has a second slot in it.
