The only sewers I've played are those in missions and in the Abandoned Sewer Trial.

I've never taken part in either the old sewer teams or the new DFB.

I know other players that haven't run any sewer teams or DFB.

So no, we don't all play the sewers.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

DFB is easiest way to skip street hunts in Atlas and go for radios in kings or hollows (new missions are also street hunts mostly ).

I don't have problem with patches in Apex, but swords can hurt a lot. Soft-caped alts can avoid swords, but not my every alt is soft-caped and tanks are usually occupied with BM - so swords go to nearby squishies.

See this is why almost all of my characters take Vengeance. Someone dies to the swords, I pop Venge and then I have enough Defense to handle the swords.

I can now add Malaise in the MoM trial to the list with his cute fluffy pink puddles! God I hate that guy!

To be honest I do not remember if I was hovering or not, the darn things seemed to be everywhere! It felt like i was in a pinball machine... ding ding dingdingding, compounded by the fact I was the only taunter (I was on my MM) come on melee folks take your taunts!

Mostly what I have started doing in high mobility, high puddle missions is just shifting from hover to sprint. A lot of times you need to get out of those things fast and for some reason they always land on me.. I think it is because I'm a MM but that is another post!

Yeah this, but inevitably I will be doing my thing laying down a PGT or Mortar or god forbid a stupid trip mine and wham some kind of patch appears under me! Though some times I can jump and run away like a scalded cat "yeeeowww"

Well, that's something that would have never occurred to me - taunting by/from an MM. My only MM has only teamed once, on a tf, and has been unplayed at level 26 or 27 for about 90 days. The notion of getting taunt, of it even being available outside of a power pool choice is interesting to me. Thinking outside the box, I like it. Not enough to do it myself, mind you, but I like it.

As far as the pink patches go, there is a little timer that shows up in the trial info pane. At :03, I just sprint around until I see where they are, then resume the beat down. If we don't have a tank or a brute to taunt, I simply don't start the trial. But that's me, one of those stuck inside the box types.

One thing I've gotten used to is when I know I want to do something with a long animation (like place an Acid Mortar) I will wait until I see the blue warning indicator then move to a safe place and drop it, that usually gives me enough time to place it and move out of the way of the next one. Of course then your Acid Mortar is in the middle of a damage patch, but traps is just at a general disadvantage in a fight like that.

Well MMs were originally intended to be the "tank" AT redside - in bodyguard mode they can be extremely tough. Need to be careful with high AoE damage mobs though.

Pets are immune to the pink patches in MoM, and are reportedly highly resistant to the blue patches in Apex.
