So, 22% to-hit
My apologies, I did make the mistake of thinking Blasters and Corrs had the same Leadership numbers. Offense Amp it is.
Don't blasters have access to Corr patrons?
Edit: Checked on it, seems patrons are altered for blasters, my mistake. |
Brute-Tanker
Scrapper-Stalker
Corruptor-Defender
Controller-Dominator
Blaster-Mastermind (They just ran out of combos that make sense).
The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.
We need a macro specialist to make up a bind that converts to yellow and pops it.

Personally I have almost 100% uptime between aim and concentration, I expect that to be enough, generally.
Enhancement Boosters on Tactics slotting and a Kismet +Acc will put you a small yellow away from the threshold.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm swimming in yellows most of the time because they don't do much for you after you have enough accuracy through slotting. |
First one is To Hit Buff and second one is To Hit Buff / Recharge.
No Kismet.
Unless I am misunderstanding that is 22% and a bit over.

Well I'm convinced. What's the deal, Claws? I thought you knew about them figurifications and calculatronics!
Something to keep in mind for Devices users is that even if you use Boosters to get TD up to 22% a Kismet is still a very good idea. TD has about 55% To Hit Debuff Resistance so every point that you get above 22% is effectively 2% worth of To Hit Debuffs you can handle without losing FastSnipe.
I have tested this several ways in beta and the choice I have liked the best is focusing on global recharge......yes recharge. Aim gives you the tohit you need for uber snipe. I was able to incorporate aim and snipe as a "psuedo combo" attack in my chain and I am very pleased with the result.
my 2 cents worth anyways. p.s. unless you have /energy of course lol for all other secondaries, the above will be my blueprint. |
50s - Energyman, Elec^3 Blaster - Light Bringer Prime, Triform PB - OxyStorm, Robo/Storm/Mace MM - Widow Lotone, NW - Psi-Vox, Ill/FF/Earth Control
I agree with this. In beta I'm able to hit Aim, use my fast snipe, use charged bolts, use lightning bolt, and get off another fast snipe all before the Aim buff wears off. I'm playing my build now to see if I can get Build Up to provide the 22% needed as well so I can just rotate between Aim and Build Up with the attack chain just listed.

Also, this thread is *hilarious.*
I'm very confused by this post so obviously I'm missing a fundamental piece of this mechanic.
I thought that in order to get super-snipe you had to have more than 22% to hit for that power.
Snipe already comes with an inherent accuracy bonus. And a single SO accuracy invention gives you +32% to hit. Isn't that all you need?
Scrapper Jack (SJ/WP Brute), Sky Commando (WP/SJ Tanker), Curveball (Rad/DP Defender), and a bunch more.
Tohit is an attribute that you have as a character. Accuracy is per-power, though confusingly you can also get it in the form of global bonuses. The system is pretty opaque if you're trying to figure it out from in-game information alone, but here is a more detailed analysis.
EDIT: Herpaderp, not that corrs are relevant to this discussion, but I think some mental wires could be crossed that would explain that statement. Yeah, you can't really bridge that 3% defecit.
