Massive Lag Over Last 24 Hours

As the title says, I've been experiencing massive rubber-banding in-game and slowness on the forums over the last 24 hours. Before this the game has run fine at my rig on these settings for quite a long time. I'll attached the various data points I've gathered.

I'm not sure what you were pinging, but it isn't one of the game servers. I think it's one of the OpenDNS servers.

All of the games live servers are located in Texas now and have been for some time.

Your Trace is going to some place in Washington and I'll guess that is Washington D.C. due to the previous hop being New York. If it were Washington state I'd expect a few hops through Chicago and possibly Denver.

Sorry all for the delay and thank you for the feedback. I think I've found a correlation, but not 100% on the solution yet.

It seems like every time my fiancee touches the internet at all from her iPad or laptop, it's lag-city. She could be streaming videos or just browsing a website but the same issue occurs.

We've never had an issue before, but my gut is telling me it might be my router. Any other ideas?

If you're Comcast and she's streaming the Olympics or Comcast specific content then they might be prioritizing it.

I'm not as tech savvy as you guys, but since Monday I've been having massive amounts of lag as well.

I'm also on Comcast.

CPU usage is running better than 50 percent and has been as high as 79 percent.

It's happening on two different PCs.

Every other program is running fine.

Was there some kind of patch on Monday?

Its not the game its your ISP. Comcast is known to prioritise network traffic, unfortunately it looks like your one of those affected.

I'm starting to think I'm going to have to call Comcast.

The rubberbanding is getting worse. It's pretty much at the point where I can't play at all.
