These are the four secondary power sets you can choose from as a Shapeshifter. The powers aren't specific to theme. The secondary powers match the primary powers or forms.

Example:
Primary - Machines
Tier1 -
Secondary - Assault
Tier1 - Primary Attack (Ranged)
Tier2 - Secondary Attack (Melee)
Tier3 - 3rd Attack (Ranged)
Tier4 - Primary Support

*Every secondary power set starts with an attack*

Once you select a secondary power it is like any normal power. You can use it even if you're not in a form.

When you shapeshift, it's the same idea as the kheldians. You get another power tray that pops out at the top and shows you all your secondary powers that you have.

How is this "figured out"?

Machines - What does this mean? The character turn into a toaster oven? A washing machine? What type of machines are you imagining and what can they do? Please be specific.

Animals - We only have skeletons and animations for Wolves and large Cats. So once again if you want something else please be specific.

Dinosaurs - See Animals except that we don't have any skeletons or animations on hand.

Creatures - I'm sorry but what does this mean? Bipedal, quadripedal, humanoid, arthropoid? Could you be any more vague?

Structures - See Machines. Are you asking to turn into a building? A salt dome, a beaver dam. Please be more specific about what you have in mind and what it can do.

Vehicles - While this is certainly possible you'll be restricted to flyers for the same reasons we don't have ground vehicles as a travel power. (see any previous vehicle travel power suggestion for those reasons)

Disguise - Do you mean like the Halloween temp disguise powers shown at the link below?

http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Halloween_Event/Trick_or_Treat

Sure but you do realize that they don't come with any inherent powers.

Or do you mean a disguise like the one in Mike Habashy's story arc that turns you into a Hellion? Forget that, the devs aren't going to give you an unlimited power that lets you stealth missions with impunity.

Or do you mean duplicating another players costume? While possible not every player has the same costume pieces unlocked on their accounts, and the devs won't let us get access to other power sets if that's what you had in mind.

Sorry without a lot more specific details put into this I don't see the devs giving this the slightest bit of consideration.

So, you're telling me that my idea is Complete Pancake, and that there is nothing good about it.

Try this again, and this time don't think about the primary powers specifically. Think of the play style and how it would work. Not the powers at the moment I'll get to those later, don't worry.

What I want to know is your opinion about the play style or how it would work in the game.

And at least give one complement about this idea. If you did that you would be helping the idea and making the person that came up with the idea fell a little better. Pros and cons next time, ok. Thank you.

I didn't see Forbin saying anything about it being Complete (forum violation). I do see him asking a lot of questions, some for clarification of what you meant.

How can we think of the playstyle when your post doesn't really talk about a playstyle, it's just a bunch of vaguely worded thoughts about powers.

If we see no pros to a suggestion but see many cons, how are we supposed to follow your rules of how to post?

If there is nothing to compliment (yes, compliment, not complement), again, we can't follow your rules.

If the idea is full of holes, what reason is there for "making the person that came up with the idea fell a little better"? (By the way, it's feel, not fell, but I left your poor spelling intact since I was quoting you.)

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Pretty much ^this.

You don't give us enough to go on to figure out how this would work, and this idea is far from "Figured Out." You leave a lot of questions as to how this would really work in practice, and just throw out ideas with no explanation for how they'd work.

How would the different forms within a set work? How would they work with the secondary assault sets? Would changing form change the attacks that you have access to? If so, would that mean that for each form, the Devs would need to create new animations and attacks? That's a TON of work for each individual primary set. Would choosing a primary lock you into a secondary, or would there be multiple secondary sets to choose from for each primary?

How would you balance "support" secondaries with "assault" secondaries if you could choose between them? What type of support powers are you taking about here?

This is the basic shell of an idea, but it needs a lot of work. sorry.

It is just a basic idea, what i meant by figured out was how the AT would work. I am coming up with the primary powers now, I also got rid rid of vehicles, structures and disguise and instead i added electricty, plants and growth shapeshifting.

O.k....I think I know what you're getting at..... The different forms come with their own stats like kheldian forms but not their own powers, that come from the secondary powerset and that form has their own attack animation and added effects on it for the secondary powerset attacks....is this it? I'm trying my best to understand you....

Finally some one understands.

Dont peacebringers and warshades already do this? except without the animal crap?

We all understand you want it to work like the Kheldian forms, but the onus is still on you to put forth a complete suggestion. Posting a list of words isn't a complete suggestion for a new archetype. All you have done is vaguely sketch out a skeleton of an idea. We need a lot more details before we can share in your vision.

The best I can figure your doing is cherry picking "forms" by looking at the pre-existing pets that currently exist in the game and trying to cobble an AT/Power Sets out of them.

Oh by the way you aren't going to get "growth" The devs have already explained in the many "growth" power set suggestions over the years that the game engine will not support it.
