I think he spawn when you kill enough of the Devouring Earth giant monsters in that zone. So Hami will now be there until a raid drops him.
If you're patient, you can wait until the server resets, after next maintenance, I'd expect.

It's tricky but not impossible. Took me about a dozen tries and 2 days trying to get it. I lined myself up and superjumped into Hami's forcefield thing and eventually landed on top of it just long enough to have it awarded before I got killed again.
Fly around approximately center of Hamidon (and up really high because his attacks are lllooonnnggg range) and type /loc into chat until you are at (-4, any height, -2180). Turn off flight and fall onto badge marker. Die horribly, but get badge!

Can someone tell me how often Hami spawns. Ran through there yesterday and got wiped out due to being a little too close. I was trying to get all the badges in that area. So I am now missing the one that Hami is currently is rooted on. <<<(nicely put)
