Getting into Summer Blockbuster

OK, since I posted I did get into a few (formed the first one in chat, got two more via default queuing). No procs yet, but it's a decent event, so it's been fun.

What happens if you're in a mission when the LFG popup comes up? Do you have to run back to the door really fast, or will accepting the popup port you into the event?

You port directly into the event, same as if you were outside.

And when you're done with the event, it drops you right back outside the mission door (though you do lose any progress you already had on that mission, just as if you'd logged out mid-mission and come back).

FUN FACT: That burst of light when you level up is actually the effectiveness escaping from your enhancements all at once.

It's really more like a bus stop, complete with crazy homeless people (spoiler alert: we are all the crazy homeless people in this analogy).

We will honor the past, and fight to the last, it will be a good way to die...

Damn spoilers! Git off my lawn!

Regarding the original point of the thread... what I've been doing is shouting out that I'm looking for a summer event team - if there is one I get picked up; if there isn't I jump in queue and shout out that I'm there. Others start jumping in queue pretty quick if they know someone else is in it.

At least its not as bad as the wait time for an Arena match - I got a shock once to find the popup message of one starting - three weeks after queueing! Fortunately I had just completed the mish I was on.

As far as the Double Feature is concerned though - every one I have done has been via the LFG option - generally its been between about 1 and 10 minutes wait on Union. I wouldn't rely on it for the other trials though but with it being based on a team of 4 its manageable.

Mind of Gaia lvl 50 Defiant's first Mind/Storm 'troller.
Deadly Doc 50 Dark/Dark Corr
and lots more on Pinnacle,Union and Defiant

Back before they allowed players to actually do stuff while queued, this wasn't really desirable, since no one would want to enter the queue if a large number of people weren't already queued up. Now that that's been "fixed", however, I think it's something that might be worth re-examining.
