No it's not, try again.
Also you need to upgrade to SP3 for XP and whatever other Window XP patches you may be behind.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

I just played and it happened again, even after I updated to SP3.
So the problem is the graphics card?

newchemicals' comment was in reference to me because I too have an nVidia GForce GT240 video card. In my case everything ran perfectly fine prior to the June 29 patch and I've had 5 crashes so far. So far it seems to usually happen when clicking a button in the game such as 'claim' in character email, 'Go back to log in' at the server select screen, 'Yes' to confirm a respec, etc, as examples of my problem. There was 1 time where in the summer event I was the Grifter and in the first part clicked the NPC. Before I could choose 'Flirt', the game crashed when the dialogue box started to appear but before any text was in it yet. All this has happened since that last patch.
But It isn't necessarily our graphics cards. It could just be a coincidence.
If it helps, this is what I get. It happens for any zone, not just AP.

I started a post about recent crashes I've been having since the June 29 update that fixed the teleport problem in the Heist part of the summer event.

For example, when I was running a Manti tf, I got it twice. Usually on teams I get it at least once, whether it be during/after the first mish, or 3 afterwards - probably very annoying to deal with if you ask me :\
Well I think I fixed the problem.
I switched the Particle Physics Quality to None. So far, it's working just great and the quality seems the same.
Thanks for the help guys
This has been happening for quite some time now. I never bothered to look into it, but here I am now, asking for help.
I don't know much about computers, so I'm really clueless as to what the problem is.
I have Corva's icon pack and Vidiot Maps installed.
When it happens:
- Between loading screens when zoning and entering/exiting missions
- Sometimes when running/jumping/flying anywhere (it'll just freeze and say something along the lines of "CityofHeroes.exe has encountered an error in (I forgot, but it's something along the lines of 'PhysXCooking') and needs to close."
- Sometimes when fighting in large mobs the game will lag a bit then crash or when finishing fighting a mob, then running on to the next one - it'll crash then.
