We found a work around the the queue bug, log out and back in seems to clear the "Waiting for event to start" issue...

It this something the DEVs have acknowledged and are working to fix? As in (im afraid of) emergency server maintienance around the time I decide to sit down , crack a brew and start playing?

There is no "workaround" that "works" for this bug. Sometimes you catch the Queue operational and most times you don't.
I've now spent over 2 hours on various teams, did a fully computer reboot 3X during those 2 hours as did others and still can't get on any iTrials.
Communication out of COH support on this matter is awful.
Its broken again. ATM no one is able to do any trials.
