Interrupt reduction IO set?

Call it a kinda-sorta suggestion, but another discussion got me thinking about this a bit. One thing there are zero sets for is Interrupt Reduction. Admittedly we don't need MUCH, but what could be done for sets?

Powers that could use it:
Teleport - TP Foe
Teleport - Recall Friend
Medicine - Aid Other
Medicine - Aid Self
Medicine - Stimulant
... not sure if the rez does.
All Snipes (Blaster, Defender, Corruptor, Stalker PPP)

... which, while not a HUGE list, still opens up the possibilities to a few potential sets.

Since these tend to be secondary or want to be slotted for other things, 2-3 sets would probably be needed with a little variety to them, and at not more than 3-4 pieces each. The pieces should (IMHO) be individually useful as well.

For instance:
Interrupt Reduction
End/Recharge
Interrupt/Range

... would be somewhat useful in all of those powers.

Some, of course, need accuracy:
Interrupt/Acc
Acc/Recharge
Interrupt/END

... perhaps. (Yes, I know, I do keep adding range.)

What would you want to see in a set?
Would you want to see something specific to a group of powers (Interrupt/Heal, Interrupt/Damage) in an "interrupt reduction" set or see them pushed to the other category (Snipe or Heal) for instance?

(Note, I'm not heavily invested in this. Mostly playing with the idea and throwing it out there for others to mess with too.)

Wouldn't an Interrupt Reduction set be like having an Endurance Reduction set, or an Accuracy set?

Issue 16 made me feel like this.

So what I am reading from this, whether its what you mean or not, is that it shouldn't be a new class of sets per se, but instead a new aspect of a set. Kind of like how there are Accurate Healing sets there would now be Interruptable Healing sets, Interruptable Damage sets and Interruptable Travel sets that have pieces like Heal/Interrupt/Endurance, Interrupt/Damage/Recharge or Range/Endurance/Interrupt?

Anyway you slice it, I like the idea.

No, as End reduction or Accuracy are already accounted for and usable in other powers. Interrupt reduction, not so much. Yes, some sets have *some* but not much, and some powers have nothing but basic IOs associated with them. The fact it's somewhat limited in what would *take* it is why they're small sets.

It's called "more flexibility." Especially for frankenslotting.

interesting idea, but if it were possible they could add a proc like effect which would bypass the interrupt time for the power and have it activate immediately

the idea of that came to me since they are doing the kb->kd unique IO in the overwhleming force set we will get during the blockbuster event

we could always have something similar for interrupt powers since that would be majorly useful but only limited to 1 power

Its a cool idea.

But, unless you have a snipe purely as a mule, you'd want to slot it for damage. And the same with the Medicine powers, you probably want to slot them for healing if you take them.

Maybe have some small 3-piece sets with OK bonuses? (Like Blessing of the Zephyr or the low level knockback ones?)

e.g.

Int
Acc/Int
Acc/Int/End

2 pieces: +2% Recovery
3 pieces: +1.125% Health

That way you can fill up with generic IOs for damage or healing.

Or I guess have six piece sets as well and the player chooses whether they're using the power as a mule or useable power. We already have this, like say slotting Gale with Positrons Blast for the Accuracy and Recharge bonus.

That's pretty much what I was shooting for - smaller sets (3-4 piece) that would let you slot the other stuff in as well. Didn't go into bonuses since, well, I didn't have any in mind.
