Simple costume addition for capes
One really simple cape option I'm still surprised we don't have is some basic emblems. I know all the chest detail emblems are 2 colored, but quite a few of them would work just fine in a solid color. The many star emblems and all the letters, numbers, planetary symbols off the top of my head would be perfectly fine in a one color pick since the cape only holds 2 colors max.

I could get behind both the simple line around the edge and the emblem patterns, though as you say a lot of the emblems look a little bad if you put them all in one colour, as the other has to be used for the base colour of the cape.
Amusingly if you look in a saved costume file (They're just plain text) there's actually four colours listed for every single costume part, of which two aren't used. The only thing that uses them is capes, and other stuff that's like capes like the bolero and trench coats. Which use two for one side's colours and two for the other side. Everything else just uses two and leaves the other two blank. I can't help but wonder if that's just them not wanting to code a specific exception for outputting colours on a cape as opposed to everything else, or if the whole system actually has two colour slots, as such, that it's not using on most costume parts.

On the topic of cape changes, I don't know if this would actually be simple or not, but it would be great if we were able to have capes wrap around the body more so that they cover the shoulders and part of the upper arm rather than simply hanging down from the back. I know we already have the over shoulder mantle option, but it doesn't quite get it right in my opinion.
I was making a now character and realized that there were no pattern option for capes to allow the secondary color to simply edge/trim/outline a cape without further effects. I was trying to match the effect I managed with the High Collar on the cape as well. There are patterns that do this along with other parts (like the Circles pattern,) so in theory this would not require too much work to implement.
I know that in addition to this character, I could easily see it being used on a cape along with some of the light-lined Retro SciFi pieces.
Thank you for your time.
