So you get an audio glitch, then your computer loses internet access, while someone else sharing the same internet connection is unaffected. That sounds like some weirdness going on with your motherboard. Are either your sound or network separate cards, or are they both (or one of them) on the mobo?
Also, someone will no doubt ask for more information about your system. You might want to check the steps in this thread to get a jump on that.

Could have heat from another part causing the motherboard's other hardware to overheat and fail until the temperature cools down(because the game cuts off).
I think this issue was the same for another person on this forum.
The preceding sound glitch and fairly consistent "playtime before crash" would also indicate some kind of progressive failure going on, whether it's heat related or something else.

When my connection is loose I like to tighten it.
maybe you meant "losing connection"? 
I am having this very weird problem. I can log into the game. I can join a team, then I can go into a mission. Then from there, between 10 and 45 minutes, I will get an odd audio glitch, and then suddenly loose connection to map-server. When I loose connection to map server, my internet goes down, and weather I'm on the wireless or Ethernet cable, I do not see any internet what so ever. I then restart the computer, and the internet is back up and running. This happens every time. I have tried to re-install drivers, (Chipset, and Network), but I can not get Audio drivers for my particular system.
I am playing on a internet line with someone else (that is the other person I am grouping with), and the other player does NOT have the same problem. I am the leader in the team every time.
My OS is XP
Does anyone have any kind of advice? We've reset the modem, tried to repair CoH, and re-install drivers. Everything thus far has not worked. Ideas?
