Paid for cloaks and Time set, have access to neither

Your Support web page is not working, so I'll post here.

I am using Virtue server, currently on a free account. I had previously been subscribing, and had paid for the Time power set and for Cloaks. Now I have access to neither one. Please fix this, as I paid for these items!

Did you buy Time Manipulation? It's free for VIPs while they're VIP, and can't be bought when your account is actively a VIP. You'll lose access to TM characters when dropping down to preem until/unless you buy the set itself (or go VIP again).

If you bought the set itself in the past, then that's a different matter altogether.

Not sure what you're referring to as 'Cloaks'

Log out to the Desktop.

Relaunch the game.

Log in.

Check it again.

Sometimes there is a timing glitch that doesn't sync the store and your account correctly.

The support site is working fine for me. I updated an existing ticket and checked a few other tickets I had there as well. What problems are you having with it? Remember, the username/password for the support site may not be the same as your game account login. Mine is similar, but the login is the email address, not just a username.


If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Bear in mind also that time controllers will also require access to the controller AT. Shouldn't be a problem for other ATs though.

As has already been said sometimes you need to restart the game client in order for purchases to show up. They may also sometimes take a few minutes to be added.

The other possibility is that the purchase didn't complete - you should have had a receipt displayed at the end of the transaction. If you attempt to purchase multiple items and have included a non repeatable item which you already have then you won't be able to complete it until you remove the problem item. The system really needs to identify which it is though.

It started working for the OP in that thread after I put in a support request about it and they started fixing it.

It took a bit of time but they finally got it all fixed.

It all works as it should for me.

Tested again yesterday before I responded to this thread.

Perhaps you should put in a support ticket to get your issue fixed?

I'm having basically the same problem here, also on Virtue server. Its just the Capes for me, I was able to buy Time Manip and got access to it with no problem, but I purchased an account-wide cape unlock today. It took my points and gave me nothing. Put in a ticket for it and got back a generic 'we're sorry you're having an issue, why don't you look on our forums?' As if a forum thread is going to get me my wasted points back, or unlock the Capes.

The capes should always show up if you don't have that checkbox clicked to hide purchasable items. Do they still have the paragon market button on them? If not, then you've got them unlocked. If they don't show up at all, something else might be going on (or you've got the checkbox checked, which doesn't always work wonderfully well).

They don't show up at all. I've actually been having a problem with my other characters (unlocked from when i was VIP), who had the capes unlocked, but for some reason dont' have access to them now. I put in a request for that, but of course since I'm not VIP right now, I just got another generic response.

Hrm... interestingly, the problem seems to have worked itself out, all is as it should be. Didn't get a response from a GM, but honeslty, so long as I got what I paid for, I don't think I care. So yay for me, is fixed.

Make sure "Only show free costumes" is not checked. There's been many reports of it causing owned items to not show up.

I haven't purchased the capes unlock, yet I can still see them in the costume creator (I just can't use them till I unlock them in-game).

Edit: Too slow While you can't use the in-game /petition (i.e. "live" support) as a preem/freem, you should still be able to use the support website.

Capes showed up for me yesterday, and I did nothing new in the Marketplace. Score one for silent fix!
