Yeah, cohRock wrote a guide called: Thresholds CoH: What to do When.
Is there any resource for DIRECTED NARRATIVES, or something like that? Something like: what to do at which levels that emphasizes fun storylines and accolades that grant powers (which exploration/history badges to grab along the way, when to grab a patron pool redside)?

It's from way back in Issue 12 so some of it is out of date, but it's a good starting place.
Paragon City Search And Rescue
The Mentor Project
Hi, Okay, I played a lot in the first two years of the game and have recently come back. I love the new aspects of the game (architect, alignment, inventions, etc.), but I find myself out-levelling content, sticking in dead-end story arcs, running out of contacts and then just doing tip missions.
Is there any resource for DIRECTED NARRATIVES, or something like that? Something like: what to do at which levels that emphasizes fun storylines and accolades that grant powers (which exploration/history badges to grab along the way, when to grab a patron pool redside)? Solo (hour at a time) and Team (task forces and respec trials) options? Sometimes I play by myself and sometimes with friends.
I understand that end-game content is important for longtime players, but coming back as a "new" player is just exhausting from the standpoint of trying to figure out how to balance efficiency and fun. "Just do what looks fun" doesn't really work anymore—in-game storylines and text often all seem equally fun at first and it's hard to determine which are going to be awesome skin-of-the-teeth ambush fights with action music and which are going to be "escort your contact to the exit at 'walk' speed for the next ten minutes."
It would be fun to plan out like six different characters and do different story arcs with them Red/Blue/Praetoria all the way through level 50. I just don't know if there's a sensible resource for doing that. Places where missions have been rated, maybe? One-page documents on how to guide a character all the way through an alien/magic/WWII style story?
