Villain Went Hero, can't access incarnate Arcs

Hello. I have a friend of mine who had an old character and decided to go from a villain to a hero. Afterwards he wanted to get this character decked out with incarnate stuff, and then... Well... Can't. When he went hero he was on the Ramiel arc, unfinished and when he went to finish it the Hero-Version Ramiel won't let him finish the arc.

I said 'Okay so what, ust go right into the DA arcs', well... Can't. Don't have the contact in Peregrine to start it, going right into DA doesn't introduce Heather Townsend, and when speaking with her, well... Nothing! She says it's 'safe in the runes' but won't give the mission! What gives?

I had the same problem when incarnates just got out, a hero went villain, started ramiel's arc, then went back hero but couldn't continue the arc. I contacted NCsoft and they said that at the moment the only thing I could do was going back villain do complete, then go back hero. And unfortulatly for your friend, this hasn't changed, so he'll have to go back villain

As for the DA arcs, you only get contact after you unlocked your alpha slot... so either you have to buy it in ouroboros with (I think astral merits), or he goes back villain side, completes ramiel's arc, then goes back hero.

You can also unlock the alpha slot by earning iXP in DA. And threads can be converted to iXP in the incarnate abilities window under powers. You can do the repeatable missions, from Ephram Sha for heroes, in DA without being introduced. The first repeatable a day gives 10 threads and each one after gives 1. Each thread can be converted to 5% of the iXP needed to unlock the alpha slot (and, I think, each conversion costs 1mil inf). Run one repeatable on two different days and convert the threads and your alpha is unlocked. I did it this way on a rogue.

the problem here is that the redside and bluside arcs from Ramiel are seperate arcs and only accessible to that side. When you switch sides the arcs remain active (thought that was fixed though so incomplete arcs were abandoned) but inaccessible.

So he will need to switch back to redside in order to complete the arc. He can still as others have said enable his Alpha slot in other ways though.

And don't you talk to the repeatables first and -they- introduce you to heather?
