My guess is the Devs probably aren't going to change how this works anytime soon. *shrugs*
Maybe this is the Devs' way of forcing us to log on every character at least once a year to justify the disk space they're taking up.

Just did an invasion round, no progress bar and no badge. It might just be a massive number of points worth of foes defeated, or there could be a special something you have to do.

From how it appears: there needs to be a critical mass of players (like other invasion type events). If that critical mass is met, a Giant Monster version of Nemesis will spawn. Defeat that Nemesis and get the badge.
That blue thing running around saying "Cookies are sometimes food" is Praetorian Cookie Monster!

Just cleared the Nemesis Invasion in both Talos Island, and Peregrine Island, leagues of 10-14 people both times...
In Peregrine Island, we got Nemesis? and Warhulks as Elite Bosses, but no badge, and no progress bars either for defeating about 20 elite bosses...
Anyone know what the requirements are for A Nemesis Plot?
