how can dark mm be considered exactly a buffer? it has DoTs and long ranged moderate or high damage outputs even in the beginning only later do they get the debuffs and etc, but IMO in the first part aren't the dark MMs damage dealers and aggro stealers?
I have a hard time to keep aggro off me sometimes just hitting the mob or just standing in the wrong location

Hmm I feel like I'm being trolled here...but this is the coh boards...

Dark Miasma has 1 power perhaps two if you count fluffy that do any damage at all. And it's less than brawl. So either you're thinking of dark assault or you're just mistaken.

You better read up on the powers available to the set, and reread the responses in this thread.

Edit: you know we are talking about Dark Miasma, the debuff secondary?

yes i did look at the power sets wrong... so thugs and dark is most powerful without the whole enhancement part yet right?

Its all opinion and player experience. Ive only played thugs/time and its op as hell especially with afterburn and double gang war.

But then when I get on my bots/traps I say the same thing.

Thugs/Time and Bots/Traps are supreme AV killers.


The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.

can thugs/traps Mastermind 3rd or 4th power set be damage dealing and like damage buffer? in the end of the thugs powerset is the thugs buff abilities stronger or weaker than the leadership ability? with enhancements it's better than their buff powers right? so could possibly a thugs/shield work with leadership and maybe a damage 3rd powerset? just wondering

Not sure if Enforcer's leadership affects Posse, but your leadership (if you picked them) affects them, along with IO uniques which affect them too.

Do remember though, all Posse spawn two levels before you, AND have -MaxHP and -Res Lethal/Smash, meaning they specifically spawn to have less maximum health than minions, and specifically take more damage from Smash/Lethal attacks.

This is why if you can buff their defences or resists, they can act as an extra meatshield, haha. Specifically why I took Barrier.

ahhh haha interesting I honestly think gang war is a very unique ability as you can do many interesting combinations with them. though frail and weak there are buffs and i guess enhancements you can put on them to make them at least worth while using. would barrier be the best choice for that ability? time has a AoE debuff that slows everyone in range including their attack rate and health regen, then you add in a mob of pets, lets say then with leadership and fear? you would a pettyless enemy correct?
