Where is the best place to slot Superior Scrapper's Strike in a StJ/SD build?

I've been away for a bit and this is a new set to me. I thought I saw to slot it in a high recharge power, so was looking at Shield Charge or Spinning Strike...

Thoughts?

You could also put it in Crushing Uppercut, seeing as it's your best ST attack.

I took your build and mucked around with it a bit. Softcapped to all positions and a couple other things.

Just a quick FYI; according to the wiki, it doesn't matter where you slot the Increased Critical IO. It's a Global Bonus, not a Proc, so isn't governed by the Procs Per Minute formula (again, according to the wiki, but that also seems logical).

For me personally, if the set has an inherent TAoE instead of PBAoE, it'll go in there (ala Spinning Strike). The reason for this is it's either Posi's or...

Well...

Nothing really lol. At least for me who in no way shape or form is able or willing to invest in purples.

With the Ragnarok set in Spinning Strike, Crushing Uppercut is your best bet. With that much recharge, you'll be able to have it up reliably every second combo.

Does Membrane in AD still increase defense debuff resistance?

I thought this went away with the HamiO changes in I22. I also thought I checked this when I returned a few weeks ago, and the 'real numbers' reported by the power showed no increase. IN my respec, I took them out pending further testing... but it would be great to know that they still buff defense/recharge in both SD's AD and a widow's mindlink.

This is my natural-themed scrapper. I'm sure it's not the most efficient, but it does hit the soft-cap for M/R/AoE without taking pew-pew powers. Note that I use Ninja Run and jetpacks for travel (again, natural theme). I didn't put in my incarnate stuff, but it's worth mentioning that I took Cardiac to ease the endurance issues.

There is a Hecatomb set, but of course you can replace that without losing any defense.

I would have taken Agility instead. It boosts End Mod powers, so it would have increased your recovery, along with defense and recharge. Agility is pretty much tailor made for defense based sets.

Toxa has a natural StJ/SD concept too? The Legion's turning into a hive mind.

Here's my build. I left Aid Self on the floor because the tricorder is interruptable, annoying, and doesn't really fit the concept. I'm planning to pack green skittles and a Rebirth instead.

I wondered about that, but I wasn't sure if the overall effect of +EndMod would be enough. If Stamina and Physical Perfection slotted with +End procs, plus Numina and Miracle Unique aren't enough, then boosting Stam and Phys.Perfection a bit more wouldn't really do enough either. Well, that was my assumption anyway. Plus the additional recharge would have me burning End faster. Even with Cardiac, it's still not terribly hard to burn down my Endurance bar.

I wouldn't be opposed to trying Agility, but I don't see how the +Endmod (affecting only Stamina and Phys.Perfection) competes with End reduction on every non-auto power I have.

I have Rebirth now, and I'm really considering dropping Aid Self. It is a total PITA to use -most- of the time, but helpful enough that I haven't quite worked up the nerve to let it go. Yet.

Minor necro, but I tinkered around and came up with a better build. She's now softcapped without Manuevers, and Spinning Strike should be up every combo without Hasten. Put AD on auto and watch her go!
