Just U and I - your UI setup?
Here's mine:
I track different stats depending on character, but always track my End Recovery, End Consumption and Last Hit Chance.
Tray 1 is for my most used powers (Heals/Blasts/Primary Controls/etc), Tray 2 is for long recharge powers that I don't need to use immediately off of cooldown. Tray 3 is for toggles and buffs (Ally buffs are generally bound to the numpad, but I keep them on my bars in case I need to buff a non-teammate.
Tray 4 is used for long recharge clicks. I keep them right around my normal attacks so that I'll notice when they're recharged, otherwise I'll forget them (particularly bad for a Time Manipulator).
Trays 5 and 6 I use for Nova/Dwarf forms on kheldians, using keybinds to switch them into the primary tray.
Tray 7 and 8 are for Vet/Temp powers.
Tray 9 is mostly just for Costume Change Emotes.
Team/League windows are still docked to the chat window, exactly where they've always been.
Any other windows (such as the map) I only open when I needed.
Heya Hyper. I have to ask...please don't flame me!! As you know, I'm still relatively fresh off my 3+ year absence. What are the powers in your third tray? I see the Pocket D teleporter at the end, perhaps the Crey Pistol in there...and what looks like a couple of teleport powers at numbers 7 and 8 (not sure about that though), but in those other slots are ones I've never seen. Can you (or someone else) explain what they are? Thanks much.

Here's mine. Some characters will have an extra tray or two in the same configuration as tray 4, depending on how many temp powers etc they have (that they use).
I'm mostly a clicker, but if I lose my cursor I'll switch to keybinds until I find it again, and location powers I usually bind to shift/ctrl/alt + lbutton. Also, a couple powers get to sit in my mouse side buttons. And since it was mentioned: I use popmenus, but can't screenshot those (hitting print screen with one open just closes it, instead of screenshotting). All of my characters have one for the various teleporter powers, and my MMs get one for summoning pets and another for commands. |
Thanks!

If anyone else knows the answer to my question (above) please feel free to let me know. Don't think Hyper is checking back on this thread. You can click his picture above if you need to see what I was asking about. Thanks!

Mystic Fortune, Secondary Mutation, Sprint, three accolades or maybe nukes, mission teleport or assemble the team?, mission teleport?, Ouro Portal, Pocket D port.
It also looks like he has Corva's icon pack applied since they're all super shiny and color-changed.
I've seen several of you with the recovery, recharge, etc buff window showing all those stats. Can you tell me how to get this on my screen? I'm unfamiliar with it, but would be interested in having it on a few of my toons.

I like my screen to be as clean and visible as possible. My most common powers are all keybinds, so it frees up the trays. I also have macros for things like 'lol', 'thanks', 'gratz' and more. Here is my screen:
Many things worth doing in the world had been declared impossible before they were done.
Here's mine. I tend to stay fairly traditional, but more cluttered than a lot of people. First thing I do when I create a new character is expand the chat bar.
On 50s, I like to group like powers together, so the 4x3 groups (usually the first is toggles, the second is AoEs, and the third is single targets). Usually the single row of powers is for utilities. I usually have about 99 things in the combat attributes bar.
The pic is from a solo-MoITF attempt. The time isn't amazing now (I've done way better), but the character didn't have any purples or PvP IOs. Before the HO change, I had managed to do a sub-1:00:00 MoITF.

Tray 3:
- Mystic Fortune
- Secondary Mutation
- Sprint
- Eye of the Magus (*)
- Geas of the Kind Ones (* Use these two as a kind of pseudo-godmode)
- Crey CBX-9 Pistol (Need to actually take this one off. I never use it.)
- SG Teleport
- Mission TP
- Oro Portal
- Pocket D VIP pass
Some of you have a lot of power trays open - are you familiar with the magic of "popmenus"?

Yes. But that adds to the number of clicks. And in an effects heavy fight, it's REALLY easy to lose the mouse pointer.
I'm using 3rd party buttons.

So my bars move around. I leave some of my machines in windowed mode just so I don't have to deal with stuff moving around.
Something that might help ease that inconvenience are the commands /wdwsavefile <filename> and /wdwloadfile <filename>.
Basically /wdwsavefile lets you save your current UI layout to a file, and /wdwloadfile will retrieve the UI layout from a file.
So you could set up one wdw file for each PC you use and set up a keybind or macro on all of your characters to load those files in an instant.
i.e. boot up in 1600x900, set up your UI, then go "/wdwsavefile 1600x900.txt" and repeat that for each resolution. Then something like "/bind <key of your choice> wdwloadfile 1600x900.txt" and repeat that for each wdwsavefile you made. Set up those binds on each character and, in theory, when you play on a different PC from last session you just hit the keybind that loads the relevant wdw file for that resolution/PC.
The only potential issue might be if you use different layouts for each character, in which case you'd need to do separate wdw files for each one (which could get messy).
