Testers needed
Did some very quick testing on the public test server (vip test was down) with a superior dominator (plant) and controller proc (mind). I didn't do numbers on my dominator as it can only stack once per cast, making it very slow to get an actual proc chance.
roots: very very rarely proccing (as in, i can cast it 5 times at a spawn of eight and not see it proc once).
spore burst: about the same as mass hypnosis (see below)
terrify: 100% (40s cooldown, 90 degree arc, 60 range)
total domination: 100% (240s cooldown, 20 ft radius)
mass hypnosis: 59/73= ~80% (45s cooldown, 25 ft radius)
Does anyone else know about how they do in roots (fast recharge aoe. I don't really trust the results on the public test server as it isn't always up to date), living shadows (fast recharge cone), distortion field/shadow field (patch powers), and carrion creepers?
Controller ATO Proc in Fearsome Stare seems to proc everytime I cast.

Did a quick test on my dominator who has it in elec fences. Seems to proc every time. About the only mentionable thing is that it procs don't refresh so occasionally you'll drop down to 2 and then the next cast puts you back at 3.

Trial one: Elec 3 mobs to death
Trial two: 1x8 mission spawn. Here it was a bit harder to maintain a 3 stack mostly because of attacks,other controls , etc. But still seemed to be on every cast. When I had the pull under control and just spammed fences I had no trouble keeping the stack up.
Procs-per-minute Enhancements, by design, will trigger more frequently for powers with longer cast-cycles, even up to a 100% chance for certain AoEs.
You can stick a purchased Positron's Blast in each of Bile Spray and Arctic Breath, for instance, and have both powers proc on every target they hit every time you use them.

Which leaves the question was Synapse wrong to say there've been no recent changes? The alternatives to this seem to be that:
a) the player base testing en masse was wrong and the ATO procs were firing fine in AoE's from the start
b) the test server code was always bugged whilst the live version was always fine.
It doesn't matter I guess as I can now get good proc rates from the ATO's in my AoE chain. Hope this applies to other AT's as well as it gives us all more slotting choice.
PPM Enhancements seem to be working correctly except for cones. In Heavy Burst, for instance, when I tested it, 4PPM had a lower proc rate than 5PPM (expected) and 3PPM (not expected).
It's working on my elec dom.






When the ATO procs were introduced a quickly and firmly held belief emerged that it was better to slot them in ST powers and not AoE. All evidence seemed to suggest that in AoE's, even when fired at large groups, they just didn't fire as much as in ST powers
I have a Dom +Dam proc in the AoE immobilise 'Roots' currently live and it works fine. I run x8 and it triple-stacks easily. Synapse has apparently PM'd someone saying no change has been made.
Something is wrong here. Either the player base was totally wrong at the start or an intentional/accidental fix has happened Please can someone try this and update the forums.
Sorry for not doing this myself but I play rarely and KNOW that others are better qualified to look at this than I am. Even more so because I'm one of a small number saying it's now fine.
