Blaster vs. Corrupter, what's better?

Energy blast isn't very good at PvP, to be honest.
@Amarlex in game, on the Virtue server.
I figured as much, and you're absolutely right, I'll probably think of a different primary as things go on, my real difference is with the secondary and AT.
Corrupter Kin's get some nice debuffs and damage boosts, while Blaster's EM has some great raw damage potential, that was my real question, which one was better in a PvP 1v1 scenario?

I have no experience with /kin but I don't think it would be very good.

Just go with a Psi, Dark, or Fire /EM blaster. It is just that simple.

I wouldn't make psy blasters anymore. I hear a "fix" on delayed damage is in the works.
I know PvP isn't a huge focus, and I'm pretty sure there are better powers than the ones I'm thinking of, but for thematic's sake, these are the ones I'm down to.
what's better in 1v1? energy/EM blaster or energy/Kin corrupter?
