Wow pretty cool, we need something like this in the US, hey we got an abanded high school where I am at let's use that.

Cancel the kitchen scraps for widows and lepers, no more merciful beheadings and call off christmas!

But I don't think it's that bad a price! The one in the mansion is only £80 a person, I think that's about $100. For 3 or 4 hours of zombie mayhem, that's excellent, and not something that can be done any other way either.

There used to be an Airsoft group up in either northern California or Oregon that'd do this kind of thing as a three day weekend event with a resident evil theme around Halloween. Can't recall the name of the group offhand, but it always sounded like fun, aside from y'know, spending three days in the woods for a city boy like me.

About ten years ago (that long? REALLY? jeez...) i was running the entertainment side of a bar/restaurant/quasi-dinner theatre Minnesota. While we had weekly entertainment 9music in the bar and such) our "big events" were usually about 2 months apart thanks to rehersal time, casting, set construction and rehersal time. I cameup with the (admittedly somewhat crazy) idea of using October, which was an "open month" with nothing but the weekly music, as "Zombie Month" and every week, usually on Fridays and Saturdays, we had a special "Zombie Apocalypse Lock-In" startign at 11 o'clock. During those events we were open all night with food and drinks, special "survival fare" stuff, and we had a group of people "attacking" the place in full zombie gear. Tickets were something like 50 buciks per head and that included two drinks and an appetizer. At the end of the night, one of the groups of zeds woudl manage to breach the building and they'd slowly flood in driving everyone out the door. It was prety popular and a nice little money maker. We later armed guests with low-power paintball guns (there were some kid's guns at the time that were pretty popular) and they'd fight off the zombies on their way to their cars.

Cool. I'd do it if I was anywhere near there.

A waaays back, I did see something vaguely similar at a horror convention though. They had a flat area about the size of an average movie theatre blocked off with black curtains to make a bunch of halls and rooms. Players would run through with Nerf melee weapons, and try to kill the "zombies" before the zombies got the flag football style tags off the players.
