So..the AI got 'fixed' today? Seriously..this is..now fixed? Let me give some examples..

Doing a BAF, 24 people, on Virtue. Kill the 40 ww, then group up near the wall. League is deciding on a puller, and someone uses sb, hitting everyone. Keep in mind..NO ONE is beyond the edge of the wall, pointing to nightstar.
Then, my UB gets his sb, and goes MAD. He just rushes right at nightstars mob..when I cant even see it due to view distance fall off. Please explain?

Again, on Baf. Just finished the prisoners. Move to the wall again, someone sbs teh idiot pet. Again, it RUNS right up the hill to siege's mob, which again..I cant even see, adn would not have even 'phased' in. Please explain?

Doing TinMage. Last mission. I am behind the legs of teh huge tower, waiting for a pull. Did not even look at the 2 AVs. Spawn lassie the tard..once more, sb comes out. Lassie makes a beeline RIGHT into the avs. Please explain?

I have taken 2 MMs through every trial we have..and have NEVER seen pet behaviour like this. Have also taken doms and trollers..never seen their pets do this. Clearly it is something to do with the speed increase on UB + speed boost.

But seriously now..this is 'fixed'? At least on an mm, if the pets start running, you can make them come back.

I ran a BAF a week ago with my zombie MM. They got hit with sb and for no reason BEE lined it for Nightstar who wasn't even in my sights. They did that twice. Then did the same with Siege. (Yet again not in my sights) I found myself hammering on heel but they just REALLY wanted those AV's.

Ahh..so the problem is not just with Umbra? That makes me feel better..for a moment, until I wonder how they managed to break other pets too..since this pet +sb bug sure was not around a few weeks ago.

It's pretty much all pets, though until now, I'd only heard about it happening with the controllable (mastermind-style) ones. My bots MM has had this problem in the BAF (and Lambda -- they charge Marauder as soon as he arrives too) basically since I22 went live, to a point that even issuing specific commands like passive/heel or passive/goto don't fix it. It's bad enough that I've started straight-up dismissing pets before the AVs show up and re-summoning them after the fight has already started, because otherwise, they end up screwing things up for the whole league. I'd rather spend the first twenty seconds of the fight not contributing than start the fight before everyone's ready for it.

Though I haven't noticed any specific link to Speed Boost, I suppose it's a possibility. I'll have to keep an eye out for that.


FUN FACT: That burst of light when you level up is actually the effectiveness escaping from your enhancements all at once.

Till that time.. if you have SB in the team... Use your pets as tankers. When they attack follow them and attack that which they have as target. Better to join them and end up winner then to team wipe.

Tell the team to treat the zombies/pets as tankers. In a lot of cases (like zombies) their threat level is so that they almost act like tanks anyway.

I bet it has something to do with the Beast Mastery set. Those pets get a self-buff click power that boosts their run speed to try to make up for them not having any ranged attacks. I bet they futzed with the AI script to try to get it to use it correctly, and now it's making all pets go crazy when their run speed gets buffed...

Very Time they try to fix/tweak AI of Stony or Jack, they mess up all other KIs of Pets...
